This is used in a humidifier, ours is Air-O-Swiss brand which no longer in business. But I have been able to get consumables from Amazon, both last year and this year. This is great because otherwise I might have to take the humidifier out of service and buy a new machine. Humidifiers of this capacity are not very common and are expensive. Thank you Amazon for the product support!

It doesn't work. It does not demineralize. I know because I have a air quality monitor and this thing does not make a difference.
