Great Walking stick
I think it's great. I started using a walking stick when I broke my leg in five place on my Harley and just stuck with them. As I've gotten old they're actually useful for balance. Even before I got old I walked quite a bit and they're great for cautioning bad dogs and drunks. I was a police officer for thirty years and find a baton on my hand comforting.This bamboo walking stick is strong enough for a fat man like me and very light weight. It's one of my favorite sticks.I ordered two more and I was pleasantly surprised to find that each stick is unique. The bamboo is quite different from one stick to another. One is significantly thicker than the other two and one has bigger joints. I'm old and clumsy and most of my sticks and umbrellas have dings where I've let them fall on the pavement. These bamboo walking sticks, in part because of their light weight, don't ding. I don't believe there is any varnish or lacquer to get damaged either.I think they're great. I highly recommend this walking stick.
