My son needed this for school. He absolutely is more than satisfied with this tripod. He says it is stable and it works for what he needs it for.

If you ask a professional photographer what the most important piece of equipment is in their inventory, almost all will say, "a good tripod."My workhorse tripod finally broke in an unrepairable way after nearly 30 years of use.The MACTREM 75 Inch Camera Tripod was the best choice after value-shopping for about a week.Here are a few features. It collapses down to less than two feet in length, but can be extended to over 70". It is very light weight. It is pretty stable and includes a hook on the bottom of the tripod to attach a weight to give additional stability. It comes with rubberized, rotating feet that allow you to set up in uneven terrain and get a solid grip with the floor/ground. It comes with a phone holder that allows you to grip the phone either horizontally or vertically. It comes with a quick release tab. (This was vital for me as all my recording equipment is set-up with quick tabs.)The tripod also allows you 360 degree horizontal movement and 180 degree vertical movement (by turning the mount 90 degrees and then rotating the recording device, camera or phone).There are a few caveats. It is a little less sturdy than my 30 year old tripod. This is not a huge deal, but it means that it will not be able to hold my old video camera recorder. The set comes with a remote that says it is for iOS or Android, but I could not figure out how to use it. The instructions that come with the device are very limited. It is not that complicated, but there are things, like the remote, that would be easier to use if they came with a little bit of information.All in all, this is a good replacement for old reliable tripod, and I expect to get years of use out of this MACTREM 75 Inch Camera Tripod.

I have purchased many budget-oriented tripods over the years. Several, however, in just the past two years. I don’t even have enough accolades to express my satisfaction with this tripod! It is sturdy. It is plenty tall enough. Has a hook for a small bag (11lbs). The telescopic legs of this tripod are nice and thick, and the clamps that hold them in place do a fine job.Many (most) tripods it this price, have tiny, weak legs for their smallest telescopic section, but these are very sturdy.In fact, the clamps hold so well that you do not necessarily need to fully extend the leg. The clamp will hold (use common sense, don’t try to hold a small child with your tripod). Say for example you have two legs on solid, level ground, but there just isn’t room to extend the third one fully. The clamps will hold the tripod firmly in place, with a section just partially extended, so that you may get your level shot.Oh, the tripod also has a built-in level, it’ll shoot horizontally as well as vertically, and can move in 360 degrees.It really is a very nice choice for the money, and they come in snazzy colors, as well!

I was a little skeptical at first about making this purchase, mainly because I was in need of a reliable and sturdy Tripod A.S.A.P.! But once I received the product, every bit of skepticism I had diminished! I was completely taken aback at how great the overall quality of the product was, not to mention all of the little extras you get with this Tripod that you wouldn't be receiving paying for a higher priced one. I am beyond impressed with my Tripod and have had many compliments about it as well as people asking where I purchased it/how much I paid for it. I have not traveled with this tripod yet, but I think it will travel well. Pretty compact. 11 pounds is a bit heavy when doing carryon luggage, but the tripod is very sturdy!
