Smaller than you think -- but borosilicate
OUTSIDE dimensions are 6-1/2 x 7-3/4" ... INNER dimensions are 6-1/4" square at the top edge of the container, and at the bottom just about 5" (the sides slope in) Frankly, what you get is a borosilicate dish, which is hard to find now that pyrex is no longer borosilicate. But it is way smaller than you might think. Note, the content area is square but the handles extend out, thus the dimensions make it look as though it is not square.On the basis of this size mis-labeling, I would suggest you now look at the larger version of this dish which is probably also mis-labeled, and buy that one.
