If you want to go by the size number, this runs small. My daughter prefers microluxe leotards over cotton for stretchiness and while it doesn’t shrink, it runs small so my 9 year old fits size 12 and I have a small to average sized child. I’ve found it to be the same for Capezio as well.

I bought size 12 for my skinny 10 year old, whose girth measures 51". I thought I'd risk it, because all her other measurements would indicate a much smaller size. Size 12 has a max. girth of 51", but she complained the straps felt too tight. I should have gone with size 14. Quality seems very nice. It does not have adjustable straps, which is a pity. It is not see through. I think this would be a great leotard, but go with girth measurement!

It fits my daughter very well. The only one thing that I am not happy with it is that it doesn’t have lining comparing to the light blue one.

My daughter loves the Bloch Microlux leos. She will choose these time and time again over all others. And we have tried a lot of brands. They do run smaller then other brands so keep that in mind when purchasing. Highly recommend.
