Pad placement: Does the larger part of the pad go to the front or the back?

The larger part goes in the back. There are arrows directing the placement.

how long are these? PLease don't GUESS. I got 4 different answers last time I asked this and no one REALLY KNEW the length.

The ones I received are 13 and 1/2 inches long (measured center of the pad, from end to end). I have noticed they vary in thickness and width and length even though they appear to be the same product. It's possible the company modifies them every so often and what you get depends on when it was manufactured. Regardless of the changes, they still provide the complete coverage I need better than other brands I've tried.
