Great Continuation of the Series
4.5 StarsThis is gonna be another short review as this is 100% a series that would be best enjoyed in order and I don't want to spoil anything from the previous books, but this is exactly what I wanted to see from Stoker and Veronica in the last book. I absolutely loved the little moments between them that were dispersed throughout this book. And I loved the deeper conversations we got to see between them.Something I've never mentioned in my reviews of this series is the way the story is told, kind of like Veronica is writing her memoirs or something. It's a very creative way of telling the story that I just absolutely adore. The little fourth wall breaks are a great touch to the story. And as always the mystery kept me guessing until the very end and was very intriguing. This is still a series I would highly recommend to anyone who enjoys murder mysteries and historical fiction/romance.

Ending does not hold for me
Great read until the end, and some of the plot did not hold together for me.

Great Fun!
This is another solid adventure in Deanna Raybourne's Veronica Speedwell series. Veronica and Stoker are up to their old tricks, this time investigating the not-so-accidental death of a feminist climber. Add in a missing princess, a monumental masquerade, and a murderous mountaineer, and you'll have more than enough fun to keep this story scaling the heights. If you've enjoyed Veronica's adventures in the past, this one will absolutely not disappoint.

Another Exciting Speedwell Adventure
I enjoyed this book. The main characters are like old friends who are also adventurers. I have always enjoyed reading about strong and capable women characters, and Miss Speedwell is a corker. This series would make an excellent movie or three. The plot is easily followed and the story is a very good one. I definitely recommend this book.
