MGKKTEnameled Cast Iron Dutch Oven with Lid, Enamel Pot with Loop Handles, 6QT, Red

I had an older dutch oven that did not have a heat-resistant handle, so I had to splurge and get this lovely purchase. I was a bit hesitant. I do not recall where it came from, but it is super. There are no lingering chemical -paint-spray type odosr. The inside is impeccable. No tiny chipping away, very smooth. It bakes evenly and browns as one would desire. Oven mitts are included, but so tiny; and I have very small hands and fingers but still opt for a heavy potholder that covers more of the product being lifted out of a very hot 450 degree oven. It is worth the price.

This is my second cast iron Dutch Oven - love the way these cook! The red is a lovely shade.

Love this pot. Best thing I have bought for cooking almost everything. Heat up great and keeps it warm.

We have had this for a short period of time and my wife loves it and uses it constantly. She makes a Sourdough bread in it that comes out amazing!

I love this pan. I cook in it all the time both on top of the stove and in the oven. Easy to clean

The color and finish is great. I bought this because the lid knob on my other cast iron started to bubble beause it couldnt handle the 425 deg.f .After it arrived, I treated it per the directions and later cooked my bread in parchment paper. The bread cooked beautifully, it can def handle the heat as described. However during cooking, the sides collected some sticky residue. I'm not sure if it was from the brown parchment, or because I left some oil in the pan from treating it.Per the instructions I let it cool before cleaning. I put it in water which was very hot with Dawn and it was a lot of work, but I got it off. Would be 5 stars if it was easier. Next time I'll use the white parchment paper. I'll update this review if I can.

Don’t waste your time with other brands and make this your first purchase. I made the mistake purchasing a main brand and kept receiving/returning several times. This is perfect! I have made bread, soup and stews that comes out perfect every-time. This sits on my stove because I use it almost everyday. No chipping or cracking which is a super bonus.
