Really good. Removes bobbles well from clothing & also my fabric sofa, restoring both the appearance & softness. I like the fact that it contains replacement blades which I've not yet needed to use as original one is still working fine. I use this very useful gadget a lot & have rarely needed to recharge it also holds its charge for a long time.

I challenged this machine to quite a job - a big (as in quite fluffy, oversized-style) sweater made of 100 per cent acrylic, covered in bobbles all over. It's nice and smooth again now, but I have some tips, especially if you haven't used one of these before. Most of these would apply to any other model. 1) Keep it flat. An ironing board is ideal. Any hint of a wrinkle and you'll take a nick out of the fabric, so flatten each area with great care. 2) Put aside some time. It took well over an hour to restore my jumper! But it was large, as I said, and every single inch was covered with bobbles, so if you're just dealing with piling on cashmere in a few pressure points you should get much faster results. The lint that came off mine would have filled a cereal bowl (and looked like the stuff inside your vacuum cleaner). 3) Take it slowly. It's not a matter of sweeping the machine over the surface (with this or any other of the machines like it). You need to run it repeatedly over each small area until the piling is gone. I found it got a little faster if I pressed down quite firmly, but watch out for those wrinkles. 4) You'll need to empty it multiple times. The collection chamber is not large. Personally I would have designed it to collect the piling in the handle, which instead contains a lint roller too small to be of much use (instead of in the chamber just behind the blade). On the plus side, yes it works, the round cutting part is nice and big, which saves a bit of time, it's comfortable to hold and it looks nice. And it comes with a neat velvet back to stow all the bits. And it charges by USB. My jumper took one whole charge. Would have given it 4.5 stars if possible (half a point off for point number 4).

Brilliant. Great size, the handle makes it really easy to use and so so so much faster than the small battery powered version I have previously used on my sofa. Cleaning it out has been a little messy but that’s something I will adapt to and if it didn’t work so well emptying it would be easy.

From a performance point of view this is the best pill remover I’ve bought (and I’ve had many) - initially. It removes pilling efficiently and quickly from knitted fabric. The reason for only three stars is because the rechargeable batteries are not high quality. Initially they recharge fine, but quite quickly (4 months? See my usage below) they lose charge very quickly and take about 8 hours to recharge back to 100%. Because the gadget works so well I keep buying them - and keep the ‘last’ one for emergencies. I’ve just tested my most recent ‘last one’ which went from 100% to 60% on one cardigan sleeve. My usage is 2-3 garments/week. I do recommend changing the blades with the spare provided because if they struggle to cut they’re obviously using more power. Cleaning is a bit fiddly, but quite quick to do with a pair of tweezers. Depending on the amount of pilling on a garment you may need to do this every use - do check, as it does struggle when it needs emptying.

Perfect de-bobbler. I had to buy a second one as my daughter ‘secreted’ mine to her house😅 It holds it charge well so far we’ve used it on clothing and upholstery where the items have come up like new. The extra blades & storage bag are a bonus too plus I think it’s on offer at the moment so I would recommend purchasing.

It has made my clothes look like new again. I would recommend it to anyone who wants to debobble their clothes quickly and effectively.
