The best belt I have ever owned!
I am a slender guy, I wear a 32" waist pants. I actually use my belt to keep my pants up where they are supposed to go (unfortunately less common practice nowadays); and it also helps support the weight of my keys, phone, wallet, and whatever else I may have in my pocket. At work I also have a multi-tool on a belt pouch and a radio, so yeah, I need a heavy duty belt.I have always had the thick leather belts of various quality. I believe these to be inherently flawed. They have holes punched to buckle, but the hole never quite perfectly aligned for me, so I end up having to punch my own hole. So the leather belt is good for a while... but the leather stretches over time. So after months of wear the leather belt is stretched out 1-2 inches, I have punched 3 or more holes in it, each hole is worn out, the belt is now too long, and in general looks like crap. When my last leather belt gave out, I was determined to find something better. There were several nylon options that on Amazon, but this one was heavy duty, so I decided to give it a shot. The moment I opened the package I could tell this belt was a high quality product. It really looked tough but at the same time sleek and classy. I ordered the medium which is 32"-34", and true to size, it was a bit over an inch longer than what I really wanted it to be. I wanted it to pass my first belt loop a little bit and that was it. That brings me to my mod.The belt came tapered on one end and hardened to make it easier to pass through the buckle. I cut about an inch and a half off with heavy duty scissors and used a lighter to singe away all the tiny frays. It looked perfect but it was softer now. I went a step farther and used super glue gel (I had Gorilla Glue) and put a small bead on each side and on the edge. I used a rubber glove to smear it into the fabric and let it dry hanging up. The result was exactly the way it was originally! So now I have a heavy duty belt that not only fits perfectly, but also is the exact length that I want. And one final word about how I wear it. I tighten it up just a little tighter than I want it, and ease it out until I get the perfect fit. The buckle is very secure, even with my work gear attached. At work I wear it with heavy duty Rothco suspenders for additional support so I can loosen up the buckle just a hair more. I also wore it to church with my Dockers and a button down shirt and it looked great with that too! For that it worked great with my Dickies Perry suspenders which actually hook onto the belt. Finally, one fantastic belt that looks great and works for everything! I have two more ordered for friends who saw mine and had to have one too! :D

Surprisingly more functional than single layer nylon, but just as comfortable.
Belt appears identical to the 5.11 belt, but without the 5.11 price markup and it's a solid color instead of reversible (5.11 has green or tan on one side and black on the other). If you just want one color, Mission seems clearly the way to go due to the lower price, as I wouldn't be surprised if they're both made at the same factory. If you're wanting multiple colors, 5.11 two in one design would be more affordable than buying multiple belts. Though, if you're wanting one for work and one to keep for dress, that you won't get saturated in sweat, Mission again becomes the better value.Dual layer is definitely the way to go if you're carrying anything moderately heavy on the belt, like a knife, canteen, or firearm. Carrying a semi-heavy (as knives go) BK2 scout style, you can feel the weight of the knife hang a little with single layer nylon. But with the Mission double layer nylon belt, I practically forgot it was even there. Buckle holds securely (doesn't slip) and seems easier to adjust/faster to unbuckle than single layer nylon, simply because it's thicker/stiffer. Dual layer seems to offer the utility of leather, but with the comfort of nylon. Well made, quality, luxurious looking material. Easy to recommend.

Works OK
This belt works OK it does seam to loosen as the day goes on if you are carrying a full size gun. The belt is stiff but hard to get it tight. I waited to write the review until the belt was broken in some. I still use it every day but it is not as secure as some. Still hard to beat the price on this belt the quality is fine. Give it 4 stars.

Great quality, as advertised.
As advertised. Double thick!. Buckle holds well and does not slip. There were 0 reviews when I purchased mine, but I took the chance anyway. Wow! surprised to see 47 reviews now and they all say the same. Great belt! I waited to write mine until I'd worn it for some time. Traveled twice through airport security. From IAD, using TSA Pre, left the belt on through the metal detector and as expected, no problems. Internationally through AMS where everyone must remove their belt... oh well. Worn mostly with my 5.11 pants. Very comfortable. Good price. Cell phone, Gerber multitool & IWB all work well with this belt. I wear 34" pants and the Large size is perfect with just the right amount of extra to go under the first belt loop, (see photo) but not too much to interfere with my phone case. Great buckle, and the only thing to mention is how far it sticks out (photo). This should be expected due to the double thick belt. Not a design issue at all, just an observation. Shipped from Mission Elite, not Amazon and the delivery was as promised, with good tracking. Will definitely recommend the product and the manufacturer.

Great belt for OWB carry!
Bought this to use for OWB carry and it works perfectly for that. Very durable construction and simple, yet effective design enables you to quickly put on or take off. Size seems to be very accurate to chart in description. Five stars!!

Good gun belt 4 the price.
I got 2 of these belts because I couldn't pass up the price. Got a black and a olive color. The belt is thick and holds your EDC. However, due to buckle design it's freaking difficult to tighten the belt and keep tight. And it's also tedious to take belt off especially if you gotta use the bathroom to take a dump. It's could be a awesome belt but the buckle and retention is just a pain. I wanted to love this belt however, it's very difficult and that's probably why it was so cheap. You could cut off buckle and if you have a old belt around that snaps together you could try that. Which I'm planning to do, as soon as I have time to. For the price it's great and belt is sturdy. The buckle though sucks!
