My Art students love this stuff!
My Art students love this stuff! Some of them got extra creative last trimester, a couple cast their feet and one carefully applied it to her own face! We use petroleum jelly to keep the plast'r cast from sticking to ourselves. It gets pretty dusty so make sure you room is well ventilated. Also, remind kids to add at least two layers or the cast won't hold.

Amazing product! A little goes a long way
Wonderful base for sculpture!! Dries quickly (best when put out in the sun). Easily manipulated, and enough plaster within the strips to sculpt some texture with the plaster/strips alone. For my sculptures, I cover the plaster with paper clay for more detail.

I love working with this stuff!
If you've never worked with plaster before, I'd recommend starting here. There's no recipes involved, just the the strips and hot water. Even after you've applied it, there's still a short time period where everything is still maleable. It dries overnight and is strong and durable - much easier than mixing your own!
