It works but the product is very thin. It is not thick and it a pain in the butt to fold up. For the price, it's fine but probably never buy it again.Update: Had it for a little over 2 months now and the metal sides starting to flake already. Not worth the purchase. Avoid this product

This was advertised as extra thick. It's not paper thin, but it is not that thick. It does though cover the entire windshield which is great.

Too small to easily close the doors of my RAV-4 on it (to hold it in place), but think it would be great for a proper fit.

Worked very well last weekend. Used for my vehicle at a dog trial that required car crating. It was a warm day in Florida, high 80s, this shade helped to reduce inside temperature significantly. Completely blacked out the sun in the windshield. Tabs on the sides kept the shade in place all day when closed in doors. Highly recommend this product as a sun shade, can't speak to how it performs as a snow cover. Product folds up nicely, ~8" x 12". It is not thick, not sure why it says extra thick in the product name but it is backed with a soft fabric material so keeps from sliding and scratching your car.
