Great balls for 8U recreational.
These balls did not stand up well against constant use and hard hitting. For catching and helping kids not be scared of the ball while playing catch they worked great due to being on the softer side.

Worked well as level 5 safety balls for coach pitch. Seemed a tad lighter but worked the same for this age group.

Great durbality and greatly increased safety
I have used these balls for 10 practices for my Junior High team, and they are holding up superbly. The players don't mind the slightly flexible surface, except the pitchers; the slight flexibility is unwelcome and the seams are low for a good pitching grip. Otherwise, using these balls for all practices is an outstanding idea for reducing injury likelihood.
