Perfect fit for '08 Infiniti G35
This came in a generic plain plastic bag that was NOT the typical Nissan Group parts packaging. Not sure what to make of that. But it seems to be the same material as the original and it was an exact fit for the brake light stopper in my 2008 Infiniti G35.According to the Infiniti website, this part number fits the following Infiniti models/years (the EX is the "SUV" version of the G):INFINITI EX35 2008, 2009, 2010, 2011, 2012INFINITI EX37 2012, 2013, 2014, 2015, 2016, 2017INFINITI FX35 2003, 2004, 2005, 2009, 2010, 2011, 2012INFINITI FX37 2013INFINITI FX45 2003, 2004, 2005INFINITI FX50 2009, 2010, 2011, 2012, 2013INFINITI G20 1996, 1999, 2000, 2001, 2002INFINITI G35 2003, 2004INFINITI I30 1998, 1999, 2001INFINITI J30 1996, 1997INFINITI M37 2011, 2012, 2013, 2014, 2015, 2016, 2017, 2018, 2019INFINITI M45 2003, 2004INFINITI M56 2011, 2012, 2013, 2014, 2015INFINITI M70 2012, 2013, 2014, 2015, 2016, 2017, 2018INFINITI Q45 1997, 1998, 1999, 2000, 2001, 2002, 2003, 2004, 2005, 2006INFINITI Q70 2011, 2012, 2013, 2014, 2015, 2016, 2017, 2018, 2019INFINITI QX4 1997, 1998, 1999, 2000, 2001, 2002, 2003INFINITI QX70 2014, 2015, 2016, 2017

Turn the engine on, the brake pedal will go down farther and easier.
I installed them on a 200sx. With the seat all the way back and the lower dash cover removed (only 4 screws and some clips) I used a 2 foot level to press the brake pedal and jammed it against the seat to keep it down. The pedal will move easier with the engine on and go down farther, giving you more room to install the stoppers. I used some long tweezers to position the stoppers and then released the brake pedal to push them in.

Works perfectly on 2005 Infiniti FX35 2WD
We have a 2005 Infiniti FX35 2WD. At first, we noticed cruise control was not working and did not want to pay a mechanic to fix at the time we noticed it (about a month ago). Then we just recently noticed that the brake lights were on and would not turn off. I had to disconnect the battery overnight so it would not drain. After some research, I learned that there are two of these items that are supposed to be attached to the brake pedal shaft. The purpose of these is to depress two different plunger switches. The switch on top tells the car to turn on the brake lights when it is not depressed and the switch below that tells the cruise control that the brake is on when it is not depressed. After 17 years, both of these original parts dry rotted and broke apart, leaving a hole in the brake pedal shaft large enough for the plunger switch to just go right through the hole and never get depressed. I first went to my local auto parts store and they carried a different version of this item and told me they were "universal" to all cars, but they were wrong. The ones I got at the auto parts store fit in the hole and depress the switch but do not have the lip at the end that keeps them from just falling out of the hole when you press the brake. This item fits in the hole and stays put. Hopefully it will last another 17 years!
