Re how do i set the time using windows 10, there are 3 files: musicbmk.bmk, settime.rar, time_update.doc + the record folder. something missing ?

Select the file "settime.rar", extract this zip file and find the file "SetDigitRecorderTm.exe" from the extracted folder. Double click it and then you can set the time.

How do i extract settime.rar on windows 10 ? (normally i would expect a .zip file on windows.) word doc mentions gunzip. don't have that on windows10.

for this you will need winrar software and you can extract the file then. Hope this helps

I think you have to connect it to a computer to edit files and delete them. Not certain though!!
