Good epsom for my sitz baths but $22 for a bag is expensive. Not sure if I would buy it again since you can find much cheaper at Walmart. 3-stars because the smell is the only thing that’s worth the cost or I would have returned it. Changing my review from 3 to 5 stars. After using these salts consistently for a while now I realize you don’t need much. I use a tablespoon in my sitz bath. I will reorder this. The salts don’t dry out my sensitive areas and I’m addicted to the smell too.

If you have the big "H" flare up, this bath/soak eases the pain and makes it more comfortable. Sometimes the old remedies are the best remedies.

When you are having issues with your bottom, Sitz does the trick. Feels great on the sore areas and cleans your sensitive area well. Pleasing smell and an affordable price. We have ordered this product several times to make life easier.

My butt crack was on fire and was desperate for relief even after using all the creams and max dosing of pain meds to relieve the hemorrhoids. I bought this in a middle of the night desperate whim along with one of those toilet sitz baths you've probably also searched up too if you don't have a useable tub. First thought: this is the most expensive salt I've ever bought (this is my first time ever even learning what epsom salt/magnesium is.) Let me tell you though, those two purchases along with witch hazel were the best things in pain relief. I put 3 teaspoons in about 40 fl ounces of warm-borderline hot water for 15 minutes, which does the trick in feeling amazing. I have no idea if that's too much salt, but it seemed like a good amount to me. The first time I used this, my butt was in heaven. Instant relief. And I was calm too! Now I know why people use this in their bath tubs. Also this smells AMAZING. I read that you have to wash it off so it doesn't dry your skin, but if I could; I would never wash this stuff after the bath. If anything, you'll be relaxed from the aromatherapy filling your bathroom. I don't even flush the toilet after the sitz bath until I next have to use it, just so the smell of this used water fills the bathroom. Now the downside is the price. I still think this is expensive as hell! I think this would last roughly a month if you used it in the amount I do every day. Then again, can you really put a price on pain relief? My hemorrhoids cleared up in about 3 weeks using this every other day. After I would do a sitz bath, I would sleep better as well. I also bought this cheap Amazon brand version that's 1/4th the price but checking the ingredients list; that version is missing all the essential oil bells and whistles. Maybe I'll use that when this runs out instead, but I'm glad I tried the premium stuff to compare it to. I would probably buy this again if the butt pains come again.

I'll start by saying that 2 years ago I had no real idea what a hemmorhoid was. I thought it was something we get as we age, and something that happens during pregnancy. I got that initial uncomfortable itch that I would soon learn was a hemmorhoid. I was on a medication at the time that I think contributed, but none-the-less, I had no idea the journey I would begin. I tried many topical and supplemental things at first, of which none worked. I then tried the Naticura orange tube cream that worked immediately to stop the pain and cool everything down - it was the first relief I had had in weeks. However, I noticed I began needing more as time went on and the little bastards were not going away. Rather, they were getting larger and active things I used to enjoy became stressful and at times, undoable. I found myself considering this problem with all activities I did. Soon I grew hopeless; the Naticura was no longer working and the alternative products I began trying had no effect. Then I found Sitz baths. I first tried the Thena brand along with their H-salve. The effect from the first sitz was the first time I had felt somewhat normal in almost 2 years. The combo with the salve was great. The problem was the price and the volume of product; it seemed only 5 or 6 uses would come in a jar and the cost made it difficult to purchase multiple at a time. I then found this. I am happy to report that this one bag, combined with the Thena H salve application has reduced the hemmorhoids to nearly gone and most of the day goes by without thinking of it. For those who have this issue, the idea of going a day without thinking about the pain is unimaginable. If you are afflicted with this issue, I strongly encourage you to try this at least once per day, paired with the Thena H-Salve applied for the entire day. This combination has changed my life in the last 30 days. I was once hopeless, thinking I would need to resort to surgery. I have a new freedom in life, an everyday comfort that was missing for years. Thank you to the makers of this product and if you have made it this far reading, I sincerely hope it helps you too!!!
