Not sury why this didnt work out
2011 subaru, FB20, Intake vvt only: Codes keeps coming back for vvt bank 1 and 2. Ive even changed out the vvt cam sensors. Ive swaped the 2 solenoid valves side to side, even the sensors. sometimes the cel will stay off for 40 miles then bam , back on again. cant say for certain these solenoids are to blame. Originally the original sensor had a single strand of wire completing the circuit, so i replaced it and now im having issues. Its possible the comp needs to be reflashed when changing out these sensors. thats another 200 bucks. geez

if part will fit
this product said it would work for my 2016 2.5L motor. It give an over travel fault code . po021 and a fault po011 when switched to the other side.

Defective
I installed this on my 2016 Subaru Outback 2.5L and after driving about 5 miles my engine light came on and all my automatic sensors stopped working. I reinstalled my old oil control valve and everything returned to normal, Obviously I would not recommend this item.

Buy OEM
Installed it and caused multiple error codes. Not the bullet and buy OEM

There are 3 version after this because it was producing the pressure needed. There are discontinued
