Taylor Precision Products TS32 Mechanical Portion Control Kitchen Scale, Universal, Silver

I was really looking forward to using this scale. Unpacked it, let it come to room temperature and followed the instructions about placing a weight on the platform and removing it several times. The platform always seemed to hang up if a light weight was placed on it. If a heavier weight was placed on it, the platform hung when the weight was removed.I've attached a photo which shows the empty platform stuck at 11 ounces with no weight on it.Also, the zero knob (on top of the scale behind the platform) does not work. After turning several times, the needle jumps to the other side of the 0 mark.Finally, everything I read about this scale says the platform is removable--mine isn't.Did I get a lemon? I want to love this scale but right now I do not.

Purchased two of these for work, as we have a Taylor 25lb. scale that has been working great for years. These scales look nice, and the dial is great for adjusting tare weight, but unfortunately, these scales haven't measured up to our older scales accuracy. Both of the new ones we bought are constantly having to be readjusted. When we check them against our other 32oz scales (we have four Sysco 32oz scales), they're repeatedly off by one or two ounces and have to be reset so that they match our other ones. We run a pizza restaraunt and having accurate scales is a must so that our pizza's come out consistent.

The top of the scale sticks to the bottom of the scale even if you are weighing a few oz. Tried to use some WD 40 with no luck. I wish I could get another one but the window of return is already past. Not sure if I would trust buying another one. This shouldn't happen with a Taylor. Suck for me. :(

I use this scale often. I mostly use it when I make a crock pot full of food and then divide the full pot into meals of the same weight. This scale works well and is easy to clean.

nice scale,not legal for tender but great for kitchen to get a good idea what the weight is on a product.can see the numbers well.price was not bad.very happy with scale

This scale has already stopped working properly in less than four month. I wouldn't suggest buying it.

I got it for my home as I was sick of feeding batteries to our digital one which was fitzy anyways. It was bigger than I expected, my fault for not paying attention to the size, but so far it has been easy to use and seems accurate enough for my purposes. Looks nice.

Nice that you need no batteries and associated no fancy gadgets. What you see is what you get. The only drawback is the size of the scale, but I find it extremely useful!!! I highly recommend this product

I got this as mother’s day gift and once it arrived, one look at my mom’s smile was all I needed to know I made the right choice. The key was not having an electronic scale, this scale is exactly what she needed. Looks great in the kitchen and now we got more bread coming out the oven!
