Impressively rub-resistant, and still comes off clean
I wasn't too sure what I was getting when I ordered these at someone else's recommendation, but I am SUPER glad I did. They write great (fine, smooth, and varies with pressure so it looks like normal dynamic handwriting), erase very cleanly, and somehow they DO NOT erase from light brushes like normal dry erase markers do.I've got some things written with these on some stickers on my laptop, and I can *grab my laptop on the writing, pick it up and carry it around, over a dozen times for over a week* and there's no visible wear at all on the writing. It looks exactly like when I first wrote it. And it still erases cleanly with the eraser, or with intentional rubbing with anything else.Wonderful. Not what you want in all cases - easy erasing is what I want in like 2/3rds of my dry-erase-marker use. But when you want something sturdier, this is far better than I thought was possible.

My favorite
I keep ordering these because they work well and last long.

I really like these, but there is a negative about them
I love these markers they are great on my Scrubby whiteboard notebook. They write nicely and don't rub off if you brush your hand across the writing. They do take a few seconds to dry, so might not be perfect for lefties, but still better than dry erase. I use these all the time for notes/homework in math. The erasure on the back is great for erasing a few words or lines, but to erase an entire page a dry paper towel works, and a damp one works even better. Now the negative aspect of the marker. If you're not writing with it, put the cap on, even if it's only a minute. The tip will dry out very quickly and result in taking a few seconds to get it writing again. If you have that issue put the cap back on it for a few seconds and then try again. The cap seems to rejuvenate it a bit.The other negative is that the markers don't seem to last long if you write with them often. Maybe go through one marker a month which can get a bit expensive if you use them as often as I do. I just wish I could get more use of of them or figure out a way to bring them back to life when they die. This seems to be the only option out there that I have seen for correctable markers, so if you need something like this you'll have to take the good with the bad. If they lasted longer and could withstand being uncapped for 5-10 minutes at a time while not writing I'd give it 5 stars.

An answer to my hopes and dreams
I spent a lot of time reviewing options for my updated reusable notebook. These were touted all across the internet. They absolutely, 100% live up to the hype. Easy to use, dries SO quickly to avoid smearing and provides a true thin pen like feeling. Easy to erase with some water and the surface is like new. I will be using these for a very long time.

Best on the market!
I'm constantly white boarding, and more and more these days using whiteboards to take notes, be it on my desk with whiteboard contact film, whiteboard notebooks, etc.I've tried various whiteboard pens which are fine-tipped - Expo, other off brands, etc. - but the Staedtler Lumocolor are hands down the best.Yes, like all fine tip dry erase, they dry out very fast when not using them, but they come back to life faster than the Expo markers do. Additionally, I've found that the Expo markers tend to "flatten out" faster, causing for a thicker writing area after repeated use - thus becoming more of a "medium tip" than a "fine tip." The Staedtler Lumocolor pens don't do this.My only complaint is once they dry, THEY DRY! If I wait longer than an hour, I have to use dry erase cleaner to remove the marker from the whiteboard. However, this can be a good thing - no accidental erasing... So it could be considered both a pro and a con.

Stays when you want it to, erases when you don't
These pens are awesome! I can keep things on my dry erase notebook for weeks/months on end and they will stay there unless I wipe it with a wet cloth. It's kind of a pain to erase with the scrubby eraser end of the pen, but I'd rather have that problem than have the things I write disappear.

Your only fine-tip option, but also great
I have a planner that is built for eraseable whiteboard pens. Most "fine-tip" whiteboard pens are actually the thickness of a regular Sharpie, which does not work for my planner. Some of the pieces are the width of a popsicle stick, so I need an actual fine tip. These are not only fine enough for my planner, but hold up well and are a smooth writer. If you have a small whiteboard, these are a must-buy.

Lumocolor Correctable Pen Fine Point Black Set...
Excellent, extremely fine-tip dry erase pens. There are 4 in the pack. They are all black ink. They are of obvious top quality design and materials. The eraser on the bottom of each pen makes them worth the higher price from other comparable dry erase markers. There is a four-pack by this same company that has a variety of colors in it. They are also very high quality and the erasers are great, but they aren't as fine-tip as these. These are perfect for the small (3"x 3") dry erase post its I got elsewhere on Amazon. My desk at work now has strategically placed dry erase surfaces and these pens are perfect for them.I paid ~$13 for the 4 pack. I have already ordered a second set.
