Excellent camera — easy setup, great image quality, and truly wireless
I’m very happy with this camera. The installation was quick and straightforward, and the app is easy to use. The 2K image quality is very clear both during the day and at night, and motion detection works reliably with instant notifications. The solar panel keeps the battery charged without any issues, so I don’t have to worry about removing the camera to recharge it. This makes it perfect for outdoor use where running power cables is not convenient. The Wi-Fi connection has been stable, live view loads quickly, and the camera has been working consistently without disconnects or glitches. Overall, this is an excellent value for the price and a great solution if you want a truly wireless outdoor security camera.

Simple and Quality!
Needed some camera where using a solar cell for power and recharging was not practical, and these camera really fit the need. Easy to set up. Good clarity. Long battery life. All good!

Picture Perfect
I needed to replace my indoor camera because the one I was currently using was on its last legs. It kept shutting down and restarting. It probably needed an update but because everything else electronic in my home crapped out me on the same day (I'm not even kidding) I didn't want to fight with it. The hunt was on for a new gadget. Apparently there isn't a "Pan and Tilt" indoor camera that does not need to be plugged in for power. Trust me, I searched! Then I got to thinking I didn't need the pan and tilt feature if I could find a camera with a wide view range. That narrowed it down a bit. I also didn't want to have to donate both my legs, and an arm and a kidney. I am not my brother that has to have top of the line, better than best TOY. All I needed was a camera with the ability (as seen in my photo) to catch my dogs (she's in the lower right and she's black and white) behaving as they should be. All that being said, this camera is excellent. It's actually an outdoor camera but it does what I need it to do inside. The picture quality is awesome. I can zoom in and I can talk to my dogs if I need to. It requires an SD card or you can sign up for their cloud service. The set up was super easy and fairly quick. I procrastinated getting it set up for a day I would be home and had time to do it. If I knew it was only going to take me 10 minutes tops I would have done right when I got it. The battery is rechargeable and I'm sorry I don't think it's removable so you could pull it out and put it on a charger. I have this camera placed where the old one was and it's right above an outlet so when the camera gives me the signal it's about dead I can just plug it in still on its mount. The long of it is: quick and easy set up, rechargeable, excellent picture quality, wide view range AND customer service is pretty great as well. I registered it to get the extended warranty and they emailed me right back within a day or two. I recommend this device A+++

Decent camera, but no remote features
As others have noted, no useful method for saving or viewing remotely. Purely a local camera. At that, it's fine. Good quality image and the battery life seems adequate at this early stage of use. The app is a bit difficult to use - small light fonts on off-white background doesn't make for crisp viewing. Setup was easy following the basic prompts and it connected to wifi easily and quickly. The "tease" of free cloud storage is irritating and should be removed. If you just want to monitor and alert on an area within your wifi range, it's fine. But I prefer others, such as Reolink, that can send alerts and be monitored via the internet. UPDATE: I may have misspoken. The alerts income to my phone even when not on the same network. You can then connect to the camera via the app. It does take a minute to connect, so you might miss an event, but should be able to play it back from the SD card.

a few issues
update: It’s been about a month now, and I’ve noticed a few issues that made me hold off from buying more of this same brand/model. First of all, I noticed it was ignoring cars and animals - but that was a quick fix, once I realized I needed to turn off human detection day/night in the settings for each camera. I assumed human detection meant “do you also want to watch out for humans?” but it actually means “do you only want to watch for humanoids?” so disabling that fixed it & I found my first skunk. But that said, the motion detection is spotty, even when I have max sensitivity turned up and adaptive sensitivity turned off (so multiple exposures won’t reduce its triggers). Sometimes it misses a flock or large birds walking 10’ away. Sometimes it doesn’t pick me or other people up until we’re already in the middle of the frame. I have it pointed at a large meadow to capture any predators stalking our fowl, but it can’t even see our birds or dog in the meadow 30’ away, completely clear, and it’s not because the grass is too high or the birds are too small. Because the dog is huge. If there was a bear 30’ away, we’d never know. I sat here this morning and watched the flock come within 20’ and finally 10’ out of that field toward the camera, cranked up to max sensitivity in broad daylight, zero cover, and it didn’t pick up a thing. Can’t see turkeys, geese, or dogs, let alone chickens. Sometimes it picks up the chickens, but it seems almost arbitrary - I think it may relate to how fast something is moving? So anything creeping cautiously around doesn’t get seen at all. Including me before I’ve had my coffee; I slide right under its radar, as though it had mythical t-rex vision. This is not helpful if you’re trying to detect creatures that are slowly sneaking! Foxes, raccoons, skunks, ninjas… I say it’s arbitrary because it often misses frenzied movement right in the chicken yard, even if it hasn’t recently been triggered, but sometimes detects the faintest movement through wire outside of the chicken yard in the shade! It’s thus been tough to adapt to its limitations. And tough to trust, which defeats the purpose to a large extent. This sort of monitoring is intended to buy you peace of mind but when it’s so unreliable, it may lead to damning false reassurances that could cost the lives of your livestock. Because of this, I’ll keep shopping for another project for the next batch of cameras. original: Have been using the 2 solar cameras for a week now. Install was turnkey, the app seems to work well, battery life is impressive & the image quality is fantastic. I love that the app allows for easy screenshots & motion settings are very customizable. Sensitivity seems good, from numerous tests, haven’t noticed it missing any human activity - though it doesn’t always notice birds at dusk. I may have had my sensitivity too low. Worth noting is that AI detection is an additional subscriber service, but it’s a few bucks a month & includes extended cloud storage if you want that. So far, I’m very happy with the free 6s/vid cloud storage included with purchase & the microsd slot. You will need to buy microSDs. I got 2 from Amazon Basics on a killer deal & have been pleased with that to date (will update this review if anything changes). Just remember to format the cards before trying to record. Conveniently, you can do that through the app, but you’ll need to go to “History” to access video recordings first to get the prompt to format remotely. Night vision is reasonably good. There’s a light on the camera itself, which helps, if needed, but you know, it’s not a slam dunk. Night video is a challenge even with a very high end professional commercial camera for production work, so the quality of this is about as good as you could ask for without shelling out several hundred bucks, and even then; I don’t think the quality would be much better. I’ve worked in the camera industry for a long time, have been spoiled with high end equipment, and this still meets my standards & expectations, for whatever that’s worth. The long & short is, if you want a better image, add more lights. Security lights. There’s a very nice feature with the app that tells you the wifi signal strength at the location before you install the camera, and likewise tells you the strength in realtime at any given moment you’re accessing it remotely. In general, I’ve seen low latency & moderate lag (it does take about ~5 seconds to load a live view) but this may have more to do with ISP/location & less to do with the camera itself. Overall, I did a lot of research before picking this one and fortunately it seems to have been worth the time. Lastly, I can’t comment on the efficacy of the weather sealing yet as we haven’t had any harsh weather since the install. Will wait to see how it handles rain & snow before ordering more. I guess that will be an update for later, ir I remember…

This device was only purchased in June 2025 and it is water damaged and will not work, it's meant to be waterproof? I bought two in February 2025 and they are working perfectly. Can you send me a replacement please, thanks

Fácil de instalar, buena duración de la batería con la carga solar. Solo considerar que la cámara no graba de manera continua solo por detección. Si se adapta lo que necesitas es una buena opción

Was looking for cameras to provide video protection for front and rear of house. The good reviews of these i Geek cameras led me to buying a twin camera pack (for a very good price!). Cameras arrived very quickly and on opening the box I was not disappointed. The cameras are are heavy and well built and certainly seem good quality. Pack comes with ball joint mounting brackets and wall fixings included. Instructions are pretty well written and easy to follow. I had both cameras up and running in 5 minutes after downloading the app from the i Geek website. Once installed I spent a few minutes looking through the options and settings to familiarise myself with the operation and features of the camera. I would recommend anyone purchasing these cameras to do the same as there are quite a few options available. The cameras were set up to my WiFi network and checked for WiFi connection in the intended location for mounting. Using the app you can monitor the signal strength and indeed the live video stream - great for ensuring you have a reliable connection from the camera. After confirming connection working all that was needed was to fix the cameras in their final position and final settings for motion detection etc. The cameras are working well and motion detection is excellent. I have logged into the cameras from my phone from areas well away from home and had no problem with live streams or controlling the cameras remotely. i Geek customer service is excellent with prompt answers to questions not related to camera operation. I have also had emails from them asking if all is well and do i need assistance - I find this reassuring there is a company checking all is well and replying to questions.

This is in my opinion one of the best value per money camera you can get. Initially I bought only the battery version, and although it was not consuming much power, the battery level was going to last perhaps 2 months. Still a good span, but since I had room for the tiny solar panel, I decided to get it and even though it is irradiated about 2-3 hours per day, that is enough to keep the battery 100% constantly. Therefore, I decided to buy another one for a similar situation, and in this case directly with the solar panel. Needless to say, the motion detection and picture quality are really good. The app is well done and easy to use, and - most important note - this brand is the only one that gives you FREE cloud storage (limited to 6 seconds clips only, and in low resolution), but it's free. I added a SD card to have the possibility to download hi res videos from the camera, and I use the cloud storage only as extra safety, in case someone will steal even the camera. Besides that, the construction is sturdy and well cured in the details. As you can see, rain doesn't matter, still works very well. Recommended.
