This heating pad is great. I have not tried the cooling aspect. It smells great and stays warm for a good long time. I was originally concerned about the price wondering if it would be worth the cost and now now I would not hesitate to buy it again. In fact, I might buy another to keep at work. Highly recommended.

The scent is gorgeous! It also warmed up, and cooled off easily. My main issue with this pack was the Velcro. It tore only after a couple of uses.

I couldn't even get it to heat up and hung over my back to use because too hard feeling and too big for microwave

I love these types of heating pads. They work better for me than a regular heating pad, dry or moist. My previous one, although beautiful was just a small tube one with handles. Used it to death. Thought that this was the answer I was looking for with its large coverage and straps allowing one to be active while in use. It just missed on every mark. First the scent literally made me sick. I love and use essential oils all the time. I do a lot of the holistic stuff, so I'm down with these types of aromas... Just not this one. It reminded me of Peptobismol from my childhood. At room temperature or cold I didn't quite know how to feel about the aroma. Familiar scents that are pleasing, but somehow medicinal and off putting. Warmed it just became sickening. I tried airing out a few days but it was still too much. A friend also found this offensive and she's another essential oil nut. The Velcro straps scratched the heck out of my arms. It did not matter if I was wearing horizontal or vertical. The straps were too stretchy. I found if wearing it horizontal on my lower back that the pad tended to draw away from the back if on one's feet. The remedy was to make extremely tight, which caused rubbing even through clothing, a few snags, it was uncomfortable and added extra pressure to the back discomfort that I was using this to help alleviate. Vertically it really stretched and was not very effective, although some warmth was felt (I realize this was not intended for vertical usage). I was really hoping to use this way on the neck, shoulder blade and lower back. If i pulled this up to work on the neck (while laying down) it ended at the bra strap area, falling short again. The dimensions were not accurate and there is quite a bit of trim at each end reducing the functional area even more (really sorry but I lost the actual dimensions). I'm only 5'5" and could have used 2 for length. It is also too short to comfortably rest across your shoulders to target your neck. The channels are thin, but it's still not very pliable. I'm not sure if it is the fill substance or the small channels to keep the fill in place, but it did not retain heat nearly as well as my old tube type. Intended use or other I just could not get a good fit. The scent would have killed the deal anyway. I decided to make my own. This helped me learn what not to do. That's the only good experience I take away from it.Please get the unscented and customize to your preference. I dismissed other warnings about the unpleasant smell thinking they were like my mom not caring for earthy scents. Don't take the chance.

Well I like that this is Velcro on it to keep it in place it isn't the most convenient to use. The smell is nice but I don't know that I get enough relief from it as I do from some of the other packs that get a little colder.

I love this thing .... able to fasten this to me and keep on moving. ;) be aware the thing has a scent - nothing horrible but it took me a minute to figure out it smells herby.

Incredibly accurate description of product! Works great hot and cold and stays in place with straps even when moving around the house! To top it off it's made here in the USA!! Very happy with purchase! Smells good too!

i wish it stayed chilled longer, the straps don't stay strapped
