All of a sudden about two years ago I started turning up allergic to every anti-perspirant I tried, starting with the one I'd used for years without issue. I finally landed on Lume' for the deodorant and that actually worked best for me, but could not use their anti-perspirant products, just their deodorant, and constantly had wet pits that would still start smelling towards the end of the day. After speaking to a dermatologist, she recommended this Vanicream Anti-Perspirant Deodorant for Sensitive Skin. I checked several stores before finding it on Amazon. The first time I used it, it did burn a little and cause a small rash. I think my skin was still agitated from the last shave. It was a little dry/rough going on the first time, but now that first layer is off the product, it does go on smoothly without pulling at the skin. It's been almost a week, and I've had dry underarms no matter what I'm wearing since after the first application (which was in the morning). Use it at night after washing, and it works perfect! I did also change my shave cream to something more high quality, started moisturizing the skin there, and changed my razor to a brand new one geared toward sensitive skin and all that together seems to have solved my two year problem. No breakthrough sweat, no breakthrough smell. I feel like a normal person again and can stop avoiding other people for fear my deodorant has stopped working. So far, no rash, no burning, no itching either. I think... hopefully... this is finally the product that's going to work long term for me. I'm so glad the dermatologist recommended it!

Pros: unscented, goes on clear/smooth, works as an anti-perspirant. Cons: doesn't last 24 hours as a deodorant. Gave it a test by putting it on after a shower while getting ready to go out for a dart tournament. Played 6 rounds of darts in a warm bar, no sweat under the arms, however, did the smell test about 8 hours after initially applying and I could smell the start of BO forming. I washed up, reapplied and went to bed. Woke up after 7 hours of sleep, did a smell test, and it was okay, so I continued on with my day to further test the deodorant in a cool home setting where I'm not doing much. Sat at my desk for work for 8 hours, just did a smell test, and definitely need to wash and reapply. Good only for an anti-perspirant.

The Vanicream works well. I am allergic to an ingredient in most other anti-perspirants/deodorant and I really didn't have a choice. I haven't had any allergic reactions. There is no staining on my clothes or residue on my skin. I apply the Vanicream lightly to my underarms and it last for over 24 hours without any problems. I didn't experience any stickiness. I think some reviewers may apply too thick an application. It glides on easier; I do one or two medium pressure pass on each underarm and there is no visible color. I don't sweat and it goes on dry. I am very happy with the product. There isn't a bad odor; there just isn't perfume/fragrance to added to the product to make it smell nice. My one negative comment is the cost - it's expensive.

Good, doesn’t leave a white cast and controls the sweat decently in UAE, no scent at all and no yellow marks on my tshirts however not the best I’ve tried for my heavy sweating
