Continuing with the search for traditional roots, based on the geometry of Portuguese tiles and, by extension, the Oriental and Moorish tiles, this work I called "Expansões" (Expansions). I tried to produce several analogies, but first the analogy of origin (axial symbolism) with (peripheral) manifestation. And within us, according to my understanding, the greatest example of this axial symbolism, is the heart. The Orientals are based on the soul of the heart, where, according to the Sanskrit texts, there is the habitation of the "Jivatma". Therefore, a derivation of this axial symbolism, contributing to see this work, is the heart (origin, center), and its derivations (organs, attitudes, etc.). I hope you enjoy! ...... Continuando com a busca das raízes tradicionais, tomando como base a geometria dos azulejos portugueses e, por extensão, os azulejos orientais e mouriscos, pfiz este trabalho que batizei como "Expansões". Busquei produzir diversas analogias, mas em primeiro lugar a analogia da origem (simbolismo axial) com a manifestação (periférica). E dentro de nós, segundo meu entendimento, o maior exemplo deste simbolismos axial, é o coração. Os orientais têm como sede da alma o coração, onde há, segundo os textos sânscritos, a habitação do "Jivatma". Portanto, uma derivação desse simbolismo axial, contribuindo para ver este trabalho, é o coração (origem, centro), e suas derivações (órgãos, atitudes, etc.). Espero que apreciem!
