Disappointing.
Stopped charging my IPhone about 8 days into using it. Connections were clean on both phone and adaptor. Phono socket works though.

Broke after 3 weeks
Has broke after 3 weeks. Only used it a hand full of times but has broken also won't play when the charger is plugged in.

This completely failed after just over a month - just outside the returns limit
I bought two of these in the hope that they would work well and last some time.One of them died last week and neither will it charge my iPhone nor transmit any sound via the jack socket. What is even worse is that it has been used only in my car on about a dozen journeys, if that - and I have had this only just over a month, and unfortunately just outside it's returns limit.The other one I have hardly used at all as yet.I was clearly far too optimistic that this cheap device would give good service - totally useless - DON'T BUY!!

I had adapters before that lasted about 1-2 years for a similar price. I bought this in may and it broke in july., I was no longer able to return it. sound quality started going down after about 4 weeks of use.
