It's the BEST!
My daughter was excited to get this book and couldn't wait to open the package. We were surprised the book came unwrapped, with no protection inside a foldable cardboard. It could have arrived damaged seeing that it came from another state, but luckily it arrived in perfect condition. Reason I gave it 4 stars. other than that, she is enjoying her reading time.

I just read this book again
I just read this book again and its more amazing than before. The book begins with Snowkit begging to go outside with Bluekit but Bluekit' s eyes are not opened. Later on they meet the medicine cat Goosefeather and medicine cat apprentice. They meet the elders and accidentally go in the warriors den and disturb a warrior who is soon to be Bluekit' s mentor who always makes jokes about that day. So far it sounds good but now it all goes downhill.Bluepaw and Snowpaw are apprenticed. They have a sign from Goosefeather and he says to attack the WindClan camp and destroy their medicine supply. In the battle Snowpaw and Bluepaw' s mother Moonflower, is killed by the WindClan medicine cat Hawkheart. She is now miserable and the clan advocates her. Snowpaw takes a interest in Thisslepaw who bluepaw hates. Goosefeather tells her that she is fire and she will blaze through the forest, but to beware because Fire can be destroyed by water...Bluepaw tells Snowpaw what Goosefeather said and she thinks it's crazy. But bluepaw believes it. And they get into a fight about Thisslepaw because Snowpaw likes him and Bluepaw hates him.Bluefur and Snowfur are warriors. This is the worst part. Snowfur is having Thissleclaw' s kits. And Bluefur takes a interest in the RiverClan warrior Oakheart. Later on Oakheart and Bluefur meet in secret. Snowfur has one kit, Whitekit. And Bluefur and Snowfur go for a walk and get into a big fight. Snowfur runs away and finds intruders she chases then off the territory but gets hit by a monster and dies. Now Bluefur is alone? She no longer visit' s Whitekit. But seeing that Thissleclaw is pure evil, she takes him in. Later on the is having Oakheart' s kits. Half River half Thunderclan. "I'm so sorry. I never ment for this to happen." She whispers to Snowfur and Moonflower. She has three kits Mosskit Stonekit and Mistykit. She soon sees she must save her clan, and gives her kits to Oakheart, their father. But Mosskit freezes to death.Bluestar is now leader and Spotedleaf tells Bluestar "Fire alone will save our clan." Bluestar nods "Tomorrow I will send Greypaw to attack the kittypet, if the kittypet is succeeds I will welcome him to the clan." LONG LIVE BLUESTAR!!!

Such an awesome read! Totally outstanding!!
This book was awesome! I had no idea what Bluestar's life was as a kit and an apprentice and a warrior. It has so much detail. There were some parts where you just wanna grab Thistleclaw by the neck and slam him against a tree and crack his neck. I was overjoyed. I laughed, l cried, I agreed, I disagreed, it was just one emotion after another. I laughed at Goosefeather because at the beginning, you would probably say that he was CRAZY! I cried because Bluefur had to bury Mosskit which was the saddest thing I think I have ever read in my entire life. I agreed because sunstar actually recognizes Thistleclaw as a bad cat. I disagreed because it doesn't explain Thistleclaw's death in detail & Bluestar says she has only two lives left when she's only been leader for 2 moons. (How can you lose 7 lives in two moons!?!?) Overall, I think that warrior fans who are at least 11 or 12 yrs old can read this book because it pushed me to the LIMIT. It definitely should be rated 5 stars. I love the ending because it reminds you of the first book in the warriors series. The ending technically starts the first book because the end of chapter 25 is basically the prologue of into the wild. Plus it has a very subtle ending that gets you totally prepared for into the wild. I TOTALLY love this book. I still think older warrior fans should read this.Totally awesome. Also, they've come out with a new book in the warrior series! It's called WARRIORS DAWN OF THE CLANS THE SUN TRAIL. Book 1 of the FIFTH SERIES!!!!!! ----> THANK U ERIN HUNTER!!! They have also come out with the SECOND book of dawn of the CLANS, except they is "no image available." So I couldn't see it.

Awesome, but few disappointments.
I did love this book! There we're the ups and downs of course, but all in all it was a great book.(WARNING:SPOILERS - WARNING:SPOILERS - WARNING:SPOILERS)First of all, I was thoroughly satisfied. Seeing Bluestar grow up and have her tragic relationship with Oakheart made me feel more compassionate about her. I loved how descriptive it was, I could almost feel Bluestar's grief. It was, though, very sad when Thrushpelt died, and I was disappointed when there was no explanation on how he died. At times it was rushed, and didn't make sense, like why Pinestar decided to live with the kittypets. There was no explanation behind his choice, and I think that it was also strange that Pinestar chose Lionpaw to keep his secret safe, instead of a warrior. (Like Bluefur, or Leopardfoot, for example.) It might have lead up to something if there was some kind of explanation behind it, say Pinestar fell in love with a kittypet and happened to be Firestar/Rusty's father. And now there is Tigerclaw - Bluefur knew all the time that Thistleclaw was a dangerous warrior and that he mentored Tigerclaw to be vicious, and Bluestar didn't want Thistleclaw to become deputy. So then why would she, later in the book, trust Tigerclaw so much even though she saw his ambition and hunger for battle? It didn't make too much sense. And I was also disappointed when the book stopped so abruptly! I was excited to see Bluestar meet Firestar for the first time, but that didn't happen. I also think a better plot would be, not that Graypaw/stripe spied on Firestar(Rusty at the time), but stumbled upon him on accident.Anyway, I really loved this book!

Bluestar's Prophecy.
This book is AMAZING. It begins at Bluestar's death, and the way she saved Fireheart at the gorge. Then it moves onto Bluekit and her early life with her sister, Snowkit and her mother, Moonflower. Her father, Stormtail, isn't very interested in her as she tries to impress him. Bluekit becomes Bluepaw with her sister, but the ceremony seems... unexpected. The cats of Thunderclan suspect that Pinestar only made them apprentices to distract the clan from the Windclan "invasion". But after only one day of apprenticeship, they head out to attack Windclan in their camp as advised by Goosefeather, who only got two prophecies right in his lifetime. And Bluepaw and Pinestar leaves the forest and abandons his clan to become a kittipetSnowpaw, barely six moons old, lost their mother, Moonflower. While Bluepaw drowns in grief, Snowpaw is cheered up by the constant presence of bloodthirsty Thistleclaw. Soon after they become the warriors, Bluefur and Snowfur, Snowfur moves to the nursery, expecting Thistleclaw's kits. During this time, Tigerkit was born. Whitekit, Snowfur's only son, was born healthy and nothing should have destroyed Bluefur's happiness. But then, when Bluefur took her sister for a walk, to escape the nursery for a few hours, they found an invading Shadowclan patrol. Snowfur, under Thistleclaw's influence and the desire to fight, pursued them, only to run onto the thunderpath and be brought down by a monster. Snowfur died, leaving Whitekit in Bluefur's care. But Thistleclaw blamed Snowfur's death on Bluefur, and made caring for her sister's kit very difficult. Eventually, Whitekit became Whitepaw, and Bluefur received Frostpaw as an apprentice. Whitepaw became Whitestorm, and Bluefur's promise to her sister was fulfilled. After which she was advised to start her own life. But when the newly become Thunderclan leader, Sunstar, takes back Sunningrocks from Riverclan, Riverclan warrior Oakheart begs her to meet him at Fourtrees that night. Bluefur hesitantly goes, and when she returns, promises never to meet him again. But a few moons later, she realizes she is expecting kits. She tells Oakheart, and he reassures her that she will make a great mother. But the Thunderclan deputy, Tawnyspots, was close to death, and the obvious candidate for deputyship was Thistleclaw, who would plunge the clans into chaos, battle and bloodshed. Bluestar was also a candidate, but not while she was a queen. In the midst of her turmoil, her kits were born. The tom, Stonekit, and the she-cats, Mosskit and Mistykit. They were about three moons old when Bluefur reached her decision. Heart breaking, she made the biggest sacrifice she had ever made. She took her kits to sunningrocks one night and gives them to Oakheart. But in the leafbare snow, Mosskit perished. Full of grief, she returns and tells her clan that her kits had disappeared. Bluefur becomes deputy, then leader. And the story moves on to the first chapter of Into the Wild.Overall the book was excellent. It was probably the best Erin Hunter book ever. I cried with Bluestar the whole way through. She lost so much, gave up so much, all for the sake of her clan. This is the best book ever. Definitely get it.Five Stars all over.
