A real problem solver
After reading some of the negative reviews on this product I wasn't so sure I should buy it. After using my own judgement and purchasing two bottles of it I was glad I made the right decision. It made removing wallpaper a breeze with no nasty smells or residue left behind. I just sprayed it on the wallpaper, waited about 15 to twenty minutes then simply pulled it off the wall. All you really need is patience and the small tool sold here on Amazon that punches holes in the wallpaper so the liquid can penetrate the paper. Just look under wallpaper removal tools or something like that and you will find the tool I'm talking about. One bottle of this product does go a long way but to be on the safe side depending on the size of your project I would suggest buying two bottles. I've used what was left over to remove labels stuck on items and even old scotch tape off of my storm door window. Buy extra and trust me you will find other uses for it as well.

Wallpaper stripper
Would have worked better if I had bought a wallpaper scoring tool. I didn’t know that would have helped until I went to Home Depot to by more stripping agent and that product recommended scoring the wallpaper before spraying the stripper. This product worked but without scoring the wallpaper it took longer and more spraying to remove. I would recommend buy a scoring tool to use with this product.

Poorly packaged but a great product after cleaning up the mess from a burst bottle and using the sprayer from an empty old DIF bottle.

Works great!!
This worked perfect to remove a wallpaper mural from my wall that was applied back in the 70's! I scored the wall with a perforating score tool, and then sprayed the entire wallpaper and let it soak for about 15 minutes. Using a flat scraper, the wallpaper came loose from the wall without issue! Great product!! I will definitely purchase this again when I start removing my bathroom wallpaper!

It was faster and more effective using the fabric softener/hot water mixture in a spray bottle. Basically 1/3 fabric softener to 2/3 hot water and spray the scored paper. My wallpaper was put up on unprimed wallboard which didn't help, but I thought this would do the trick.....I was wrong.

Works but you need to buy plenty of it...
Well I followed instructions but honestly you need to soak the paper more than once even three times before you get the wallpaper to actually come off. When it finally works through it will take the paper off rather nicely. Please keep in mind though that the glue residue will remain on the wall. You'll then have to soak small areas on wall at a time to get glue off. Even then not all would come off. I then got a bucket with hot water and some fabric softner in it and viola!!... all the glue comes off on the rag. So as long as you know that you have to combine this product with some additional efforts.. then you're good. I had to use 2 1/2 bottles to remove a wallpaper mural and glue from just one wall in kids room. Oh it will run so do expect a slight mess.

My wife had the crazy idea to remove wallpaper by herself. I suggested to tear down the sheet rock and just replace it. she wasn't for that ideaafter working a few hours she was about to give up. I asked someone what they recommended and they suggested DIF I bought it for my wife and she was ecstatic made it a lot easier to remove the wallpaper
