Car magnets in general will shield the paint beneath them from UV sun rays and fading. It is recommended to occasionally remove the magnets from the vehicle so the area has some sun exposure; clean the magnets and the areas of the car with a damp cloth and allow to dry before placing the signs. Please do not apply your magnets over rust spots or flaky paint as this will reduce the power of the magnets. The best way to store your magnets is to make sure that north pole meets south pole in each magnet so that they are not trying to push each other away but stay naturally together.

Nice product, with a few caveats
Happy with them and they hold on well - but only if on a flat surface or allowed to match the contour of the mating surface. Initially they were not flat and it took some warm coaxing and time to flatten them so they would magnetically adhere properly to the car. After first use we made the mistake of simply placing them in the glove box, but learned that if we sandwich them together between cardboard they will stay flat and adhere properly for next use.A few tips:1. Wipe the car's metal surface clean prior to placing the magnets.2. If the surface is contoured, place your hand against the magnet until it conforms fully to the mating surface.3. Don't leave them on for extended periods - especially in hot weather - they tend to feel like they want to adhere, and though I don't know...it might mess with your paint.

Great for the Back of the Car
I'd recommend the product for the back of the car but not the front. The corners can curl up in the heat over time and if it catches the wind right it can blow off. I recommend using it on the back of the car. It is a small price to pay to inform the drivers around you that the student you are teaching to drive might do something unexpected.

Student driver magnets
Good visibility (easy to read at a distance) and decent magnetic properties. Somewhat reflective at night. Not sure it would hold up well over time on the side of a car (where the wind could catch a corner and peel it off at 75mph), but it works well on the rear hatch of the SUV. Sometimes gets misshapen while off of the car (when my son is not driving). Easy to stick two of these together and prevent corners/edges from rolling up. Good value. I would buy again.

AMAZING!! I would recommend these to every student driver!! I LOVE these signs!! I'm just learning to drive at 18 so I really appreciate the signs because I look like I should be an experienced/adult driver so other drivers get piffy when I make mistakes. The signs fixed this issue completely! Everyone gives me the needed space so I can focus on learning and stay safe. :)

We were disappointed to say the least
These end up warping in the hear and one ended up falling off of the car while my daughter was driving. We were disappointed to say the least.

Gets laughs when put on a modified vehicle.
Does just as advertised, warns other drivers that the unexpected may happen. Buy several and put them on the cars of your friends that can't drive well.

Just bought these, they will not seal tight again not the car, see pics... I’m sure they will blow off on the highway!
