Question for those who bought this: Where did you place all the electronic components (cable box, speakers, etc) that have to be connected to the tv?

They're stashed in a half server rack in another room... Granted, I'm a millennial and don't have cable (who does these days?) and instead have a Dell Omiplex 7020 mini tower connected to the 65" tv on this stand. Needless to say, with all the wires hidden and routed through the wall to my server rack in the other room, it looks amazingly clean and cable free.

Can I safely add a tilt bracket?

No— it’s sturdy upright, but adding a tilt would throw off the balance. It’s a great piece! I get compliments on it all the time.

Solid product and would recommend. I cut mine though.

Looks great and functions as promised. The stand comes with multiple screws for various TVs which was very useful and the instructions were straightforward. I put my Samsung The Frame 43" on it and it fits great but I preferred my TV lower so it would be roughly eye/head level when I'm watching TV. I ended up cutting the pole so I could lower the TV and it wouldn't stick up above. I bought a $15 hacksaw and $3 high-speed blade. I used the blade that came with the hacksaw and it was barely making any progress so I switched to the high-speed blade (which I bought as a backup only and didn't think would make much of a difference) and it ended up cutting through the steel pipe like butter. My only feedback would be if they could have made the steel pipe in two or 3 pieces so people could remove a section if they want to lower the television. Other than that, definitely recommend this stand.
