In the spring and summer I’m outside a lot whether hiking, biking, or just chilling in the backyard and fisherman type water shoes like these because I don’t want to have to worry about my feet getting wet. I’ve had Teva’s and Crocks and I can honestly say that these Keen’s are the best hiking/water sports shoes I have ever owned. The fit is incredible and like a glove thanks partly to the cinch-type lacing system. I wear a size 13 and the regular was plenty wide enough for me. They are slightly on the heavy side but the extra weight feels good with the snug fit on rough terrain. I will be ordering an extra pair to keep some on standby in the disastrous event they ever discontinue them. I highly recommend these shoes.

I really wanted to be one of the many who enjoy this shoe; it is leather, has a cushioned foot bed and designed just the way I like a man's sandal. Unfortunately, there is stitching on the inside of the sandal that can dig deeply into the side of the foot. I am thankful that I used the "try before you buy"; I returned them for a larger size to see if the difference would eliminate the problem, but it did not. I had read other reviews that expressed the same experience; I just hoped that I would not be one of them, but I was. I wish that the company will consider re-working the interior stitching so that others like myself can enjoy this shoe.
