Based on true events
Bought this seat over 2 years ago and it still looks great and no issues except the button for the light is getting a bit finicky. I need to press it multiple times to turn off. Otherwise I the seat is really great. Very very comfortable. Just bought another one for my electric bike which I refused to ride because how stiff it felt on the roads. Tried 3 different seats for it but no relief.. until now. With this seat it feels like a whole new bike. Really pleased.

Comfortable, affordable, easy to install
I purchased this seat to replace one that the backyard squirrels ate! I needed a general purpose seat for my hybrid bike that I mainly ride around town for basic transportation. Instructions for installation were clear and complete, and the tools included were adequate for the job. It took me approximately 5 minutes to change out the squirrel-eaten seat for this one. The included rain cover is a perfect fit and thicker and more substantial-feeling than previous ones. The lights work well, and are easily switched on to steady or flashing, even while riding. Seat looks like it will be durable—I hope so, as it is comfortable and makes for a nice ride.

Strikes a good balance - For me, it's Goldilocks and it's just right.
Happy with purchase. Seat strikes a good middle ground between narrow road saddle, and very wide comfort saddle. Construction is solid and cushion padding is firm. I've had many padded seats split open after a short while, I don't see that happening with this one. • Seat is a bit heavy. • Built in LED is a nice feature, though it takes button batteries, and I prefer and regularly use a rechargeable blinky. • There are two common systems for mounting a seat to the seat-post, and this seat will work with either. (Older universal system is a set of mating nuts and clamps, newer system relies on the hardware that's part of the seat post.) • Thoughtful extras include an open end wrench (for the old type) and a hefty hex wrench (for newer seat posts). Also comes with a durable rain cover - I guess if you're leaving your bike out, the seat will be dry under the cover. • Final word - Your first eval of any seat should be its shape, and no one seat will be great for everyone. But I do think this seat is not too wide, not too narrow, and not as hard as a road bike seat. For me, it's Goldilocks and it's just right. One star off for weight, and what is for me, an unnecessary built in binky.

Reliability Issues but Beijing Manufacturer Working with Me
The media could not be loaded. Latest Update 12/19/2017: Received replacement seat light assembly today and it works fine. Will give it a trial on bike to see how reliable it proves to be. Reliability heretofore has been a serious problem even though customer service pretty good. Will update this update in a month or two.Note: This review is being replaced with a less positive one (soon). Once the new review replaces this one, the star rating will go down significantly due to reliability issues. Please stay tuned!Feels like a winner! After a fairly complicated hardware change out necessitated by a too small mounting clamp supplied with seat that does not fit my hybrid bike's seat post (and no new post provided), I had to use hardware from my previous seat, but that’s okay so long as comfort and durability prove positive over time. So far have only taken bike for short spins with new seat and think I'm going to love this seat for my daily trail cycles of just under ten miles. The design has the features I have been looking for - shorter seat length, sensible design for a man, and a cushiony comfortable cushion that doesn't have me standing on the pedals every minute or two. Love the rear lights built in and the seat cover are nice touches for protection.Update 9/3/2017: Previous update deleted and star rating changed to five stars because, although the lights did go flaky, the supplier handled the situation with excellent customer service. They could have shipped only the defective light assembly but instead sent me the entire seat with light assembly, and extra battery, and a decent wrench for working with the seat's fastening hardware for clamping to the bike's stem plus they did not require me to return the old one. Very pleased!Update 10/6/2017: Seat holding up very well including lights. Have stopped using padded shorts because no longer needed for my eight mile bike rides because I experience no discomfort with this seat. I still give this product five stars and recommend it for comfort bikes like mine.

Out of 22 seats, We Have A Winner!
Over the past year I tried out 22 Comfort and Hybrid bike seats at bike stores etc. on a frustrating quest looking for something more comfortable than the stock seat that came with my new Specialized Hybrid bike. It was a deep dive to see if I could really ride paved bike trails, at a medium speed, without being bugged by the seat all the time. Uggg. Many seats I tried were: too narrow, wide, big and the cushion was often too hard/stiff. Some were just too clunky for my bike. I'm a #170 5'10" guy, and what I found was that bike seat fit is entirely personal. The cushion on one bike might be "soft" to a heavier person, but perfect for a lighter person. The size, shape, and the way the seat fits might rub some people wrong, but not others. DAWAY were the last comfort seats I tried, and I am relieved to say the C10 is PERFECT - for me anyhow. It will help to know their C900, C99 and C10 are all about the same in terms of cushion regardless of the different item descriptions. Neither is really stiff or memory foamy soft. They all differ in their surface material and red flashing light feature. The C900 has a leather look surface that can be slippery and gets hot and kinda sweaty after 10 miles. Not crazy bout that one. Just sayin'. The C99 has a nice braided texture, but is thicker & heavier, but it's still great. I really like the C10 though. The width, shape, bun pads, soft cushion and medium textured surface - all very good. Great price, and heck, I am very comfortable. My wife likes it too. Done searching, more riding. This is not a paid review, I just wanted to share my search to help others who also had problems finding the right seat.
