Professional chef, 20 yrs. I typically prefer a knife with some heft.. I like the weight behind a knife. This knife is very light and a bit handle heavy. That being said, it has been a great knife! The edge is holding up nicely, and it's a nimble little chopper! Also, it's quite beautiful! I'm very happy with this blade!
