Interesting page turner.
I was somewhat disapointed to find that this guy had entered into some fucked-up reality show having to do with young brides while whining about PTSD from a decade ago from an event he was only peripherally involved in as his team was killed while he was sidelined. I get it, I have vets in the family, but deal with it and/or get it under control before you marry. I know, somewhat harsh, but if you are suicidal, marriage is probably not gonna fix it. God bless him and thanks for his service. Great read, even though everyone else that was there seems to disagree with Dakota's version of the events of the day in question. 30 eye wittnesses and 30 differing versions of the OK Corral shootout too so....yeah. Was happy to buy it, read it, and support him in the next chapter of his life.

FOOLISH DECISIONS BY GENERALS FAR REMOVED FROM THE FIGHT.
Another perfect example of why no one should join the military. These soldier-pawns got caught up in criminal Rules of Engagement which resulted in the death of 4 Americans. I would want my life to be very important to the generals if they were expecting me to go into harm's way.It is very sad to see these well meaning, idealistic young men and women being killed by foolish decisions made in Washington or Kabul by generals who never get near the fight.Dakota is no angle if my reading of his subsequent life has been reported accurately. But his courage is not in question..

Personal experience.
Great story about a personal experience from school to becoming a great war hero.
