This Arctic Herb flavor sea salt is such a beautiful salt to look at with the inclusion of the Arctic herbs but even better than that... it tastes delicious! Refreshing bright salty flavor with a delicate nuance of the herbs. Makes it good on anything in my book! It's my new favorite salt and I put it on everything. (I even enjoy using it in "sweet" recipes as well, that ask for salt.) I sincerely hope they bring back the refill package on this, as I'd really like to refill its original nice grinder. I also hope they never stop carrying this.(Update: I see this week that they have the refill listed again, so ordering that now to refill this one.. don't want to be without it. :)

Oh, I love this black lava salt! I put it on everything! The built in grinder makes it easy to put on food. It is the absolute best on steaks. I will buy this again! Love it!

I’ve tried different kinds of salt from pink salt to different brands of kosher and sea salt. Nothing has come close to the well rounded taste and natural flavor of this salt. I use it in my everyday cooking and I’ve noticed that the salt is much more present than other salt which means I can use less which is definite plus. I absolutely love this salt and definitely want to try some of their other salt blends. I just wish that the pricing would be a bit better since it is on the expensive side but is 100% worth the purchase.

In comparison to Baja Gold Sea Salt, Icelandic salt is sharper, indeed sweeter, if that makes sense, in taste ... but wait! I don't mean that in a bad way! Icelandic tastes like cold blue-grey waters gently lapping ice floes under a low winter sun. Design flaw which poured 99% of this North Atlantic goodness down the sink -- the grinder. Or, rather, getting past /wrestling valianly against the plastic wrap encircling the top of grinder/container. I mean, that sucker just exploded with salt in my sink! What a pity! I may try again, but back to Baja Gold and content with that choice.
