This tool crimps in 2 places about 3 mm apart and I don't quite understand that. Can one of the two be turned off?

will this tool work to crimp weatherpack connectors?

How do you adjust the wheel to make the crimp tighter? It won't rotate even after I remove the set screw.

When I try to crimp heat shrink connectors they hardly fit in the die and the heat shrink material appears to get smashed by the crimper? Any advice?
