ConchUmbrella Women's Umbrella, Black and White Polka Dots

I received this umbrella yesterday and I find it OK, it arrived with a matching sleeve. It is quite compact and lightweight, it fits in my mid size purse. The umbrella's handle is made of plastic faux wood with a synthetic polyester cord in which it held on when pulled hard on it. The pole and the ribs are made of lightweight cheap aluminum alloy type metal. The runner is made of plastic and it slides smoothly to the springs at the base of the canopy. The canopy is made of lightweight waterproof material. I noticed that the stitching is sub-par but it is not prone to un-stitching. Overall, it is a good umbrella when exiting a building to your car or nearby bus stop/ train station or for an emergency. It is also good for hot sunny days when there is no shade around.

The umbrella came to me fully intact and I like how compact it is so it can fit in the side of my bag. The only reason its not 5 stars is because of the opening and closing. It is a very well made umbrella except for that one part. The opening and closing parts get stuck quite often which can be annoying when you're caught in rain unexpectedly and can't get your umbrella open. Other than that slight annoyance its a good umbrella.

I really just needed a basic umbrella and did not expect much from this. I would have been happy if it had just opened up semi-easily and kept the rain from pouring on me...unfortunately, this thing is razor sharp inside and there isn't really a great place to grab onto to open/shut it, therefore I've sliced my fingers wide open multiple times.

I was really excited to get my new umbrella, because I just recently moved from the middle of a desert to the middle of a forest for college, and the climate is much different here than it is back home; it rains most days and it lasts all day long. When I went to use my umbrella for the first time, I noticed that I continued to get wet in some places, and come to find out that my umbrella doesn't stay locked into place the way it should. It is a really cute umbrella, but it's effectiveness is lessened dramatically because it doesn't lock into place.

For the price it's great, but it's not the highest quality umbrella. But I think it's cute and it was dirt cheap so I like it.

Broke after the first use. Literally snapped. Forgot to return it after that. A complete waste of my money and wouldn't recommend this umbrella to anyone.

I received a horrible yellow pattern instead of the black polka dots- but I really need a cheap small umbrella- despite be ugly, it functions.
