Didn’t suit me

Good book to curl up and read on a grey day. Fast moving with twists and turns.Needs better proofreading!

I loved this book and will buy the next in series right after finishing this review. Story is complex, the characters are believable and likeable. I even like that he has a real girlfriend who doesn't (yet) turn out to be a serial killer.My only gripe is the, maybe 30 or more spelling or grammatical errors... American when it should be America, an extra word where a sentence was changed and not fully corrected. Just one more proofread. But certainly not enough to spoil my enjoyment. On to the next instalment!

I enjoyed it completely what a spiffing story , absolute genius , loved i,t especially the skin part and the extra info of it being deep!

I love this series and the complex plots BUT will I read any more? I'm not sure! The reason is not the authors fault, he's good but the bad spelling, using words out of context and overall errors is really annoying! I can't help correcting the errors in my head when reading and it's a real distraction. This needs to be sorted out, as you're doing a good author a real disservice and that's simply wrong!

The good storyline in this book was marred by the numerous typos and errors. Also, having read the first book in the series, I was confused to find that Lord, Wilkes and Liu had seemingly been demoted from DCs to PCs. It was a shame as all this spoiled for me, an otherwise good read.

Garrick's character emerges and is more developed in this second book of the series and his personal life is being revealed slowly. The plot was pacy and had lots of interesting twists and turns and was engaging right to the last gasp.This was a well written story slightly spoiled by the really poor proof reading, it was absolutely littered with clumsy typos and misspelled words which was very irritating.

Great story and characters, but so full of spelling mistakes and grammatical errors. Probably won’t bother some, but would be so much better had it been scanned by a proof reader.
