Don't waste your money on name brand
Works great I would assume as good as the expensive Samsung version also lights up when you set your chargeable device on top of it.I've never tried the Samsung version so I cannot speak for the speed however I feel like it charges quickly

Charger works nicely but when I take my S7 off
-Review Update-I was contacted by customer service after my initial review and they sent me a new charger. This one does not have the flashing/blinking LED issue. After a couple weeks of use I am pleased with the product. I need to place my phone on the charger pretty specifically to charge properly, which is probably due to my phone case (Otter Box Commuter Series).-Original-Charger works nicely but when I take my S7 off, the LED light starts blinking and will not stop. I have to unplug the charger for it to stop, defeating the purpose of a wireless charger.

Proper Status Light
Status light is perfect for a flat base design. Lights all the way around. Only lights for a short while to show connection. Once stuatus is shown, goes dark. Seems best for sleeping. Sleeping is no time for disco lights....

Definitely NOT a fast charger!
It's a 1 amp output charger. Period! You can use the 2 amp adaptive fast charger plug but it will not charge any faster. Basically it's an overnight convenient charger! Kinda expensive for a slow charger nowadays. I use it for an S7. I'll give it a few more days...

Nice product
I like this product. It lights up when the phone is placed on top indicating that it is charging, but the light goes off so that it doesn't disturb you if you leave it nearby when you sleep.
