Great power and safety lock folds naturally
I’m a dynabrade guy and this stands up for power and comfort. If it wears out in a year, I’ll buy the dynabrade model and won’t complain. This has over 3x the torque of your basic rt angle cut off tool. It will also cut 8x faster than those. Low dB level is nice too.Button lock so wheels can be changed without a wrench.Best feature is the safety lock folds naturally and isn’t a burden to start the tool. Great design job on that.

The Perfect Cut-Off Tool
This only my second pneumatic cut-off tool so I'm not an expert on these tools. However, the SUNTECH SM-5L-5200 4" Extended Cut-Off Tool was put to good use to remove a tie rod end frozen to my pitman arm. It cut through the hardened steel without any problems and yes I realize it was a new blade and new tool. Bottom line: This cut-off tool worked exactly as advertised. Nice work Suntech!

Truly 1hp. Would recommend
This tool has plenty of power i use it to cut inconel at work, definitely has the advertized 1hp. Things I dont like are that the gear box isnt greaseable, considering how hard i use this tool it would be a nice feature to have. The other thing is that I would have liked it to be reversible. Not deal breakers for the price though.

Great tool!
Works great, plenty of power. Used daily in a commercial truck body shop. My only complaint is the way you change the disks, could use a better design .

Stunned at how good it works
I do a lot of sheet metal work on 50 year old cars and needed to reach into a hard place. I have always seen these cutters but never owned one. I decided to buy this unit even though there are less expensive models. In short, I am so happy I did. With a thin disk, this thing cuts through sheet metal so quickly and smoothly its hard to believe. You can vary the speed of the disk and its easy to cut in a straight line. Its a high quality tool and I should have bought one a long time ago.

Same as HF Chief cutter
My HF 4 in chief cutter broke after cutting aluminum plate and was no longer under warrenty. I bought this fro the price and I have several Suntech tools now. I can not tell a difference between this and my HF 4 in cutter. Nice tool to have
