Ruth the Moabite
What a well-written novel about Ruth & Boaz! Even though I knew the story of Ruth, Jill Eileen Smith helped to learn much more about the culture of the ANE through this story.

Devoured Redeeming Grace
I was introduced to Jill Eileen Smith through a dear friend that gifted The Prophetess, story of Deborah. I devoured it and craved more so I purchased the story of Ruth, Hannah and Rahab. The Book of Ruth has long been one of my favorites. Jill stays true to Biblical story, history and traditions through obvious knowledge of the Old Testament. I appreciate Jill’s ability to portray Ruth, one of the greatest love stories of all, with devotion, honor and respect. If you love Ruth as much as I, you will not be disappointed.I highly recommend Jill Eileen’s novels as I plan to include all in my home library. May Mrs Smith find the creative inspiration to capture the story of Susannah in one of her upcoming releases.

A glimpse into the past
This novel set in the time of Ruth really challenged me to see a well known story through the eyes of the people of that time. This easy to read page turner gives us a glimpse into the incredible challenges that Naomi and Ruth would have faced.Highly recommend, probably more suited to adult women readers. An encouraging story.

A Story of Redemption and Renewal You Shouldn't Miss
Redeeming Grace – the third book in the “Daughters of the Promised Land” series -- is the newest Biblical fiction story by one of my very favorite authors, Jill Eileen Smith. I had been waiting for its release since her last book hit the shelves, and it did not disappoint! In fact, it is my favorite in the series to date! This beautifully written, thoroughly researched book tells the story of Ruth, Boaz, and Naomi from the Bible’s Old Testament. The story fleshes out the beloved tale of three individuals who were joined together through loss, grief, and ultimately renewal through the grace of our redeeming God. It was so uplifting to follow Ruth, born a Moabite, as she grew in her faith, giving up her hope in false gods to serve and develop a personal relationship with the one true God.I highly recommend reading this beautifully written book, but be sure to have tissues near at hand. Rest assured you will be smiling through tears as this wonderful story of grace and renewal unfolds.I received a complimentary copy from the publisher, but a positive review was not required. My opinions are entirely my own.

Loved this book
Redeeming Grace not only helped me picture the lives of the people in the book of Ruth, but also some insights about faith, redemption and Jewish life at that time.
