Awesome unit! If you are "Backyard Wrench-Mechanic" like I am you'll need a unit like this one in your arsenal of tools. Todays vehicles are very complicated and you need a computer to read the computer. This one does that very well. I really like this unit. Easy to read and operate. It may not be a $400 unit, but it gets the job done at a very reasonable low price.I got it on sale and with Prime it was very affordable.Get one and you'll be happy.

Great Product
This obd reader works really well for identifying any issues. Gives good live data info and accesses the internet with wifi connection.

Very Basic, but good
This is a great basic little scanner. It allowed me to do a battery management reset on my Hybrid which effects how it charges the 12V battery. another brands top DIY model wouldn't even do this function. If you need basic codes, and your basic marinade resets like oil, and BMS then you can't go wrong with this unit.

I got this thinking that what the reviews said but apon using it, it's not fully what I was thinking although it is a good scanner for the price so I'm not totally dissatisfied

Fast and feels durable
I will admit I am a novice when it comes to diagnostic scanners. I read all the reviews and watched the YouTube videos and settled on the TopDon because of the live data, transmission temp reading and no subscription necessary. Your needs maybe different but those are what I needed. Transmission temp for my Nissan; need to know that to change the fluid. No subscription because I'm not a pro. This comes with way more than your average DIY'er is going to need. Many bells and whistles like EPB reset, etc. Got this on a flash sale and don't regret getting what I feel is a professional tool.

Great mid range diagnostic and programming tool
I was able to reset the idle and adjusted the throttle position with this tool. Excellent value. Nice touch screen. This is a mid range diagnostic tool, meaning that you can do some changes, and resets to the computer on certain areas of the car. If you want more functions, then you will have to get a more expensive higher range diagnostics device. This was what I needed. It's very easy to use. Comes with a nice carry bag, charging cable and OBD2 cable. It comes with a small manual but I didn't even read it because it is easy to figure out. Make sure to plug/unplug OBD2 while the ignition completely off. This is true for any OBD2 device.

Excellent scan tool for the money.
This is a very good scan tool for your vehicles. I’ve already used it on four different brands of cars and trucks with no problems. Pretty much easy to use. Highly recommended.
