Possible issue with threads, or it could be the pump I put it in
Use this for a deep well pump. It threaded in really smooth for the first two or three turns then got bound up. Not sure if it's the pump or the reducer

Perfect Fit - No Rust
Good quality, fair price. Using this to permanently screw into a cast iron well pump so that as the pump ages and the cast iron treads rust I will still have the undamaged stainless threads to use with PVC fittings. With my old pump the cast iron threads got so bad that I could no longer get PVC fittings to seal without using epoxy on the threads.
