I received this bed on 1/16/2018 and took until now to post my thoughts on here so that I could give its use enough time to warrant a thorough review. While it was different from my expectations, overall I do strongly recommend this bed. It works and I suspect it will continue to due so for a very long time. Since I found so many differences between this and my previous queen sized sleep number M7 bed, I listed them below. Here is what I found to be relevant during my trial period of the king sized H12 personal comfort bed. I listed them in the order of importance to me and hope that you can find this information useful. Pro'sPrice: This personal comfort H12 bed was $1200 cheaper then the sleep number I7 and $600 cheaper than the P6 when I bought it the end of 2017.Customer service: By far the best experience I've ever had with a company. This was the first time I have ever been called back when I didn't leave a message. Easy to work with and very knowledgeable.Durability: Compared to a 2012 sleep number M7 I've owned, the parts on this bed seems much more rugged, especially the air chamber system and the perimeter support.Function: Bed stays inflated after being disconnect. This makes moving, cleaning, & bed assembly very easy.Bluetooth: The ability to modify bed stiffness with a smart phone is an excellent feature that worked flawlessly.Interchangeability / upgradeable : Parts are easily swapped out, I replaced the support foam with my old mattress's 2-inch memory foam topper for a very plush feel. I also added a queen sized Sunbeam Electric Heating Pad over the support air chamber for warmth on cold nights.Performance: The air chamber does not leak air extremely slowly like my sleep number bed has done since day 1 on both sides. Con'sSmell: The vulcanized rubber off gassed horribly at first. I spent 1 week airing out the items without improvement. Called customer service who suggested that I scrub them with soap, rinse with water, then air dry them out in the sun for a day. These 1 hour labor of love sessions were done twice and the smell was greatly improved. I only noticed that very slight used tire smell twice on the second month of owning it after that and both of those occasions occurred while laying face down on the bed face (I always sleep prone). Why wasn't this cleansing process done prior to shipping? Luckily that problem has been resolved for the last 6 months.Remotes: They're wired, blindingly bright while in the dark, and one stopped working until being replugged in. Adjustments via smart phone is far superior on a Galaxy S8.Movement: The bed is not anchored to a foundation and can be easily moved or slid around. Thankfully the bed does not move while using the the foldable metal bed base I bought for it.
