Pangea AudioPremier SE AC Outlet

Best upgrade I’ve made to my sound system so far, regardless of price, better than the power cables usb cables. Better speaker connectors, I’d dare even say more of an improvement than copper foil paper and polypropylene in oil caps. It just does something nothing else can provides a less hindered power to your gear for more dynamic music, fuller bass and most importantly excellent treble extension and clarity. What a power cable does for the bass, the power outlet does for the treble, together, just trust me 50 bucks never went further in your stereo.

I used this outlet to replace a much more typical outlet located where I plug in my stereo components. The install went very easily, and was no more difficult than a standard outlet. The quality is readily apparent, from the secure wire fastenings to the snug fit when plugging in a power cord.

I bought the Premier and Premier SE (this one). I use SE for my headphone setup (V281 amp or Burson Soloist/ ZDAC v2/ Node2) and could notice better/clearer impact on notes. I think it better than the popular Hubbell IG that I swapped to use with my desktop. IMHO, I would stick with the Premier as I think get more for the price. I doubt if I could tell the difference between these two models. However, other cables/ components play their roles too. PC alone would not improve much.

Came had been opened damaged and missing a part!

Built like a tank and grips the AC 98SE MkII cable in a death grip. A normal wall outlet would not hold Pangea's biggest power cable very well. As for any SQ improvements, it is hard to say. I changed out a lot of gear and interconnects at the same time with amazing results so pinpointing one specific item would be impossible. Yeah, I'm way too impatient to do a piece by piece analysis.

The outlet is excellent. Very well constructed and the grip is strong. There is no comparison to the regular box store outlets. See the quality for yourself.

these units are worthless/poor quality/badly implemented... I bought two of them, but returned both for the simple reason that the screws provided to connect your 15/20 amp mains supply are WAY TOO SHORT, so even if you manage to get the mains wiring in place, its difficult/impossible to screwthe damn things back into the outlet itself ... even w/o wires in place, if you take the screws out its VERY difficult to get them to screw back into the outlet...what a waste of my time!

No better than the hospital grade Cooper Outlets $10-12 here on AMZN. Does not come with screws!
