This is what a phone mount should be. Suctions to glass, doesn't need to hook onto your AC vents. Suction cup actually works and stays put for months if not years. Magnet strong enough to hold even if the metal plate is underneath a phone case. Easy to use, simple, elegant, reliable. The only reason I had to purchase a new one is because my first one was in my car that was stolen. I'd used that first one for many years without any problems.Look no further. All other phone mounts are insufferable compared to this.Pros- excellent suction to windshield- powerful magnet- several choices of metal plate included (square/rectangle, circle)- long-term reliability- simple, effective, durable design- small, low-profile- mounts to windshield, not to AC ventCons- noneNote: if the temperature outside rises above 100 F and your car is parked direct sunlight, this mount may fall off the windshield. Keep in mind that in this scenario the temperature in your car is between 130 and 180 F after 1 hour. Just re-mount it. In my experience the mount has never fallen off the windshield while actually in use.

I've been using these iMagnets for the past few years and they are the BEST IMO, and have given them to family members who also love them. I like that it is so low profile in the interior of the car and the Magnet is plenty strong to hold the phone securely in 99% of situations. I like that you can just pop the phone off and on and be on your way. On the occasional super hot sunny day, the sticky suction cup can get hot and loose its grip, that's the only time this thing ever doesn't work well (it has to be very hot, like 95 and up). I'm in NY and have had few instances of this happening, but if you are in a hotter part of the US, this may become more of a factor. (If you use AC on hot days, once the car cools off, the mount holds as normal, its more a factor when you get to your car in the parking lot and its been baking in the sun etc.)

Put this on the lower corner of my windshield and it's stayed in place and works great for 4 months now. I put the metal plate between my phone and my Castify case, and the magnet grabs it without any shaking, drifting or movement as I drive. And with a couple fingers on the edge of the phone I can easily lift the phone off the holder as I'm getting out of my car.Heading into summer, so this will be the real test if the suction is able to hold through the heat of the summer months...And it does! I've come back to edit my comments, now that my car and I have suffered through several months of stifling heat (both typical dry LA weather and unseasonably humid days), and my suction iMagnet hasn't budged from it's original spot. And it does get knocked a bit every time I place my windshield cover on my dash to block the sun.I love this little product!

This is our fourth purchase of this item. One was given to a friend. One we had several years before the rubber covering the magnet tore. The third we still have and this last one is for vacation rental cars. This rendition is just as good as the original. It holds tight, even in the hot Florida sun. If the car has been sitting in direct sunlight for a day in the height of summer, the suction cup may need adjusted occasionally. The magnet holds tight to the metal plate, even if that plate is in a case such as an Otterbox. The magnet part rotates to direct the phone wherever you want. The plates that attach to the phone are metal only, the magnet is in the unit that attaches to the dashboard with the suction cup.

Ordered 2 of these thinking it was the same quality as the ORIGINAL iMagnet because they are the same makers, but it turns out that this infiniapps Cradle-Less is very inferior compare to the iMagnet. The magnet is very weak, the phone moves sideways and falls; it should not considering that I drive in the city and freeways. DO NOT WASTE YOUR ONEY AND TRIED SOMETHING ELSE. A cheaper magnet cell holder works better than this one. I still have one of the old ones left, I have compared them and the Original one has stronger magnets, the phone does not even move..This infiniapps Cradle-Less Holder is more expensive and useless....SAVE YOUR MONEY !!!!

After two years of use, my old iMagnet wouldn't reliably stick to the windshield. Was a little worried that this was some knock off product, but after carefully comparing the old vs new, it's indeed just like the old model. The only difference is that the new one has better suction vs the 2 year old one (apparently over time it looses some suction ability).In two years, I've never had my iPhone 6S fall off my windshield even under aggressive driving or bumpy roads. Even stayed on when I went off-roading in my 4x4.

This item is a good idea that did not work for me. I carefully followed all directions including carefully cleaning my dashboard before trying to attach the base. It appeared to stick and then fell off one day when I was driving without the phone attached! I cleaned again and tried attaching it to another part of the dashboard. Again, without the phone attached, two days later I went over a small bump in the road and it fell off. It is lucky that I was not using it to hold my phone when the adhesive gave out. I cannot recommend this.

I purchased two of these phone mounts in August 2017. In March 2019 I decided to get vent phone mounts and when I tried to remove the windshield mounts, the plastic of the window mount melted to my windshield and became soft and gooey. I had to use alcohol swabs to clean the gunk of the windshield and the finish cleaning the windshield with glass cleaner. It took me about 30-45 minutes to remove all the gunk on the windshield from the mount. I liked the practicality of the mount, but not a fan of the lifespan. If you have used this mount for a long period, check you windshield mount to make sure it does not melt onto your windshield!
