Growing pains.
Keily has fallen a long way, so down on her luck she takes a job as Logan's PA. Logan has an awful lot of suppressed resentment towards certain types of character due to some pretty horrible bullying when he was at school.Neither individual was particularly likeable until they had done some serious growing up. Then it was interesting to see them grow together. Not your normal love story.I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.

From bullied to bully
Keily was down on her luck she had married a promising footballer all for it to turn to dust when he got injured. She stuck by him until he lost his job and became a drunk. She went to live with her sister and niece. She had no money and used to a nearby bar and get men to buy her drinks. One day the bartender brought a paper over to her opened at the job section. One job caught her attention. She went home and used her sisters computer to fill in the job application and made up her resume.Logan grew up in the town but was a study boy but was bullied and beaten up because he was this and couldn’t stand up for himself. He went by the name of Eugene Baumgarten but took early classes for university and gain scholarship to cover university. When he left town he changed his name when he was 18 to Logan Sinclair. When he finished University he set up a factory in California. He decided to open a factory in his home town to try and get back at the bullies.Keily was invited for an interview the next day. When she went she was surprised to be given the job and also a company car and apartment. Plus’s she was given a bonus for signing on. This she used to buy furniture and some new clothes. She got her home set up and let her sister know she had gotten the job. Logan made it hard for her sending her for coffee and then saying it was the wrong one and go back. Keily proved her worth and even though she had no experience she learned how to google to find what she wanted. Logan was impressed but wasn’t going to make it easy. I received an ARC for an honest review which I have given I can’t wait for the next book to come out.

Twisted fate
When two world's colide expect sparks but in Logan and Keilly's case it's paying for others sins.Lots of pent up emotional baggage for both main characters which makes for a toxic work environmentUnlikely pairing that is for sure.I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am v

Enjoyable Start to a New Series
Summer Cooper at her best, slowly developing the main characters in the story with good back up characters too. Keily was brought up with a mother who was obsessed with her being a successful beauty pageants, prom queen, head cheerleader and then marrying a future star in the NFL. Everything was going according to her mother's plan until Keily's now husband had a career ending knee injury just as he was about to sign on with a top NFL team. Her bubble was burst and her husband turned into an abusive alcoholic. She had nothing left and couldn't take his abuse any longer so she moved in with her sister and her baby. But she continued to behave like a princess and sponge off her sister. Eventually she gets off her butt and gets a job. The offer is great (though she has lied about her work history and education). Her boss is a very handsome billionaire Logan. What she doesn't know is that he has changed his name and was no longer the nerdy bookworm that she and her friends bullied a school. He knew who she was and he was out for revenge, so despite knowing she lied on her resume, he hired her. Both of the main characters have issues from their past and it's easy to get irritated by their childish behaviours. But that is the skill of the author. I enjoyed reading the book - despite wanting to bash their heads together at times - and am looking forward to the next one. Please note this story does not finish here as it does continue in books 2 & 3.I received a free copy of the book and I voluntarily leave this honest review.

Good and interesting start
I really enjoyed the book, but I had no sympathy for the MCs. I started by disliking Reily, but she goes on a journey, a few chickens come home to roost, and she starts behaving better. Logan is just as bad, so childish...they really do deserve each other. I'm surprised Reily kept her cool as long as she did. Interested on seeing where this goes and finding out how their pasts join up.I received an ARC for an honest and voluntary review.
