Nalgene 32 oz Reusable Water Bottle, HDPE, in Wide Mouth

Lighter alternative
This bottle is lighter than the normal Lexan version of the same Nalgene bottle. The Lexan is probably much more rugged and nearly indestructable but this one is better for backpacking. This bottle only saves you about 3 ounces in weight (vs Lexan) but I carry two of them and the way to lighten your load is by adding up lots of small savings here and there instead of just one big one. Yes, there are other alternatives that are even lighter (disposable Gatorade bottl)e) than this HDPE bottle but I also want a bottle that still can take a beating and this covers it. I know I will always be able to carry water till the end of my trek. So lighter weight and rugged makes this a good choice.

Might not be genuine Nalgene, but still a great bottle...
I have a sneaking suspicion that this isn't a genuine Nalgene bottle. When comparing it to my other Nalgenes, small things are missing on this bottle, like the BPA Free notice on the bottom, and the feel of the plastic isn't quite the same. That being said, it works just fine as a bottle, was about half the price of any other Nalgene, and it fits my silicon Guyot SplashGuard just like it should. It works for what I wanted it to do.

Absolute value
What more can be said about a product that people already recognize for durability and dependability? You cant go wrong with Nalgene

Can't get better than perfect
Great water bottle. Nice throwback with this hdpe bottle. The newer Tristan bottles are great too and non-bpa but these hdpe bottles have always been bpa free! These are tough, semi flexible bottles all for a great price. FYI these do naturally leave a chemically taste if the water is left in for a couple days or so but it's not a bad taste it's just part of the bottle. Recommended

Fantastic product
I have so many Nalgene bottles I lost count. So many uses both backpacking and around the house. I use some for storing oils such as Olive, vegetable etc. This one I use for backpacking, it is light and robust. I have never had any problems with any of these Nalgene bottles. I ma sure they have there flaws but I haven't had any. Enjoy

Misleading
This bottle is interesting... I have had some form of a Nalgene bottle for the last 12 years. I used to buy them from L.L. Bean when I went to high school in Maine. What is interesting, is the fact the bottle is not hard plastic. Nowhere in the description, is there any annotation, that this is not like every other Nalgene bottle; hard plastic. While it was cheap, and white Nalgene bottles are hard to come by, its frustrating to buy a Nalgene bottle that doesn't have the same temperature insulation as other Nalgene bottles on the market.I got it on time, my only gripe about the seller, is to annotate this isnt your typical Nalgene bottle.

The Perfect Water Bottle
I have one with a regular size opening, but I like to have ice cold drinks,so this one is perfect because the ice cubes fit.I follow the Appalachian Trail Journals,& I read that a lot ot them carry the Nalgene Bottles.I also have a holder with a strap & can use it while I mow etcThanks for a great product. I highly recommend it.

Classic Nalgene
Lightweight and classic. I prefer these to the Tritan Nalgene bottles because I work in a lab and we use these for storage, so I know they are tried and tested. I have washed these many times in the dish washer. I only tend to use water in them, and avoid juice or tea to avoid leeching smells. Tritan ones may be better for those, but I am unsure.

Super
