MRS. MEYER'S CLEAN DAY Automatic Dish Packs, Basil Dishwasher Pods, (Pack of 1)

I ordered these because my regular pods cascade and finish were leaving a film on my dishes ( combo of the pods and hard water in my area )After doing some research I decided to give them a try as I already use this brand for the cleaning sprays and love it.Verdict: I’m impressed! Not only did they clean really well but my dishes didn’t have that normal chemical smell and my dishwasher smelled nice and fresh. No more residue on my dishes. I won’t be going back to my old brands.I have only tried the Lemon Verbena dishwasher pods so this review is based on that.

I love that my dishes are cleaned and don't leave a chemical residue behind. If one of your children's chores was to re-wash the dishes after they come out of the dishwasher, you will have to find them a new job. No rinse aid needed!

I wish more people knew that most dishwasher pods are not cruelty free. These are an amazing cruelty free option! Super clean dishes! Easy pods, love them!

After reading some reviews…after I had already used them, I haven’t had any issues with “not dissolving”! I really like them. I started using them because of an article I read regarding the pod “packaging” on many of the pods on the market being dangerous/unhealthy. I looked on the package to see if this chemical was used in the pod material and it wasn’t! I’ve been very pleased with these pods and have used them now for about 4 mos.

I'm in love with Mrs. Meyer's stuff. I use the dish liquid, the multi-purpose cleaner, the glass cleaner, tub cleaners, ceramic cleaner, laundry stuff, air fresheners, candles...I love almost all of it (there are a couple of duds in that lot, but by and large, they are fantastic!). Of all of them, the dishwasher pods, dish detergent, and glass cleaner are absolute top-shelf--better than the competition. These guys are made with mostly natural products, and smell LOVELY. You really can't get a bad scent, but my favorite has ended up being the Lemon Verbena. And with regard to the pods specifically, they do a knock-out job. My dishes come out cleaner and less spotty than with Cascade, Sunlight, Aldi's Reeva, or any of the other products I'd been using.As to the complaint several had about the pods not fitting in their dishwasher's soap dispenser compartment, well, it DOES fit in mine (an Ikea, which is basically a rebadged Whirlpool), though I sometimes have to push it hard to get it to close. For those that absolutely cannot get their soap drawer to close, I recommend just throwing the pod on the floor of your dishwasher (making sure it doesn't make contact with any elements or moving parts), as that's where it goes anyway when you put it in your soap dispenser. It'll break down in the water, and the water will be taken up and sprayed over your dishes. Please comment if that didn't work for you!UPDATE 7/2/19: There turns out to be disagreement in my household over this product, and I'm downgrading to 4 stars as a result. The primary complaint my husband has is that he claims he can taste the product on the dishes after they've been washed. Although I can slightly smell the product, I cannot taste anything, and it doesn't bother me. I still love the product, and feel it cleans better than what I had been using before (Aldi's Reeva liquid). Second issue is that it appears that these pods are not uniform in size, and there in fact WERE some pods that would not fit in my dispenser. Most fit...but every once in a while, there's one that's just too large. Based on hubby's complaints, we will likely be switching after we finish this supply, despite my glowing review. My recommendation is that you keep this in mind when trying the product, and decide for yourself.

Our lovely cat appears to be allergic to everything chemical, on teh recommendation of the vet of all people, we tried this instead of our Cascade pods we used to use. Honestly these do as good, or better of a job compared to Cascade, and the cat allergies (we wash her dishes in the dishwasher too!) have gone down.

I am hooked and won’t be switching to a different brand.

I really like this product. It cleans my dishes so well and there is no residue left behind. Squeaky clean results
