The Case of the Buried Bones (Book 12) (The Milo & Jazz Mysteries ®)

It is a good book to read if you love mystery books in this last series.

Milo and Jazz are used to Gordy's pranks, but apparently, his great-grandfather was just as bad. When the town goes to dig up a 75-year-old time capsule, they find that it has been replaced with a stolen skeleton. Will Milo and Jazz be able to locate the time capsule, or is this case just too ancient?

My 7 year old is reading the entire series. We have loved all of these books. He is in second grade and on level for reading. He reads these to me and there will be some words on each page that he has trouble understanding and I help him out. I love that there are a boy and a girl main characters who use their minds and deductive reasoning to figure out small mysteries. The author uses a lot of idioms in his writing and that is helpful to talk about and learn some of them as my child becomes a better reader.This is actually the first chapter book series he has read and he is enjoying them immensely.
