DORO KE FYTA Coarse River Sand 1.8 Kg (Granules Size 2-4mm) for Garden Plants

The media could not be loaded. I have ordered around 70kgs of this coarse river sand as a soil capping for my 1000 litre terrace mini pond with lots of plants and fish. The seller is kind enough to give me another 10kgs of it for free. The quality of sand granules is excellent and as per my need for Walstad-style pond. The water is crystal clear even after a month and no cloudiness from the sand (no water changes so far). However, I had to thoroughly wash the sand several times before I put it in my pond. The only downside is the sand have snails/snail eggs in it and they infested my pond initially. I had to scoop a lot of them so that they didn't overrun my pond. But I do like few snails here and there, they keep the algae in control along with my other fishes.For calculation, I needed about 2kg sand to make a 1 inch sand capping for 1 sq.ft area.

Not very small and not very big. Perfect to be used in potting soil mix for plants. Keeps soil porous and well drain.

Best buy for my garden need, quality wise 100% ..clean dry and size was perfect for my garden need.. well packed.. reached safe but it took atleast about 7 - 8 days or so to get it delivered.. am happy and am placing order yet again for my adenium re potting.. price could be slightly lesser .. just a customer satisfaction wish 😊 otherwise it's super duper and would highly recommend and one can purpose it without any second thought.. no other seller gives this quality though as already mentioned price wise it's comparatively higher still quality is not compromised at all.. thank j Mr.Seller.. thank u team Amazon 👍

Just boil it for 30 minutes before you use it so that you kill all the bacteria and any living enzymes so that they don't infest your tank. Although the granules were nice and clean and looked free from any foreign contamination but still you must not take any sort of risk.

Good quality coarse sand and much more reasonably priced than others. I have purchased quite often from this seller including other items due to this. I use this for both plants and in my aquarium. Also very promptly delivered before the expected date.

I bought it looks just like I ordered, This sand came in beautiful nice packaging so that product will not get damaged. I am going to use this in my house plants.

I had ordered 1.3 kg package earlier, I used it for Adenium soil mix. Gravel were perfectly sized and made soil mix well drained. I recently ordered 4 quantity of 1.8 kg package.I will be using this gravel for Adenium, Rose and Gerbera potting mix
