Some screws stripped / possible color fading
I bought two of these to use on the deck of our New England ski house to replace some cheap pine chairs we bought 5 or 6 years ago. The chairs came partially assembled; remaining assembly was easy, took me about 20 minutes to finish. The upright back supports come pre-assembled to the frame. They must have been assembled by machine because they appear to have been over torqued during assembly Several screws were stripped on both chairs and the back slats were loose. I had some epoxy laying around and that seemed to do the trick for the short term. When I have more time I plan to remove the existing screws and replace with larger diameter screws. Also there was a tag included that warned against leaving the chairs in direct sun due to color to fading; kind of defeats the purpose of not having to stain/paint. These will be on my deck in direct sun year round. These are OK but I could buy chairs locally made from cypress and stained for slightly less and will probably go that route for the remainder of the chairs I need.

Incorrect description and wrong parts
Ordered 4 chairs for $219/each. In the details and features it states they fold flat. They do not fold. It is a mistake in the description. I assume you have to pay $253 to get the folding one but it was a “copy and paste” description. I analyzed the info in detail before ordering as I thought to good to be true. Sure enoughThen decided I would keep them anyway only to find after unboxing all to assemble them 3 of 4 came with a wrong bar and could not be assembled. 3 hours of my life wasted dealing with them and I still need to go to UPS to return themBeyond annoying

Heavy, solid, and easy to assemble
I've had Polywood chairs for years and they held up well. So I recently bought a couple more. Sitting next to the brand new ones, the ones I have had years seem to fade ever so slightly over the years, but nothing that bothers me or that anybody would really take much notice. I leave them out 365 days of the year. Very happy with the quality. The "wood" has held up and it tough. They are heavy and can stand up to a ton of wind.Side note, one of the new ones that came arrived with 2 of the same arm! The company was nice enough to send me the correct part with no hassles, so A+ for customer service for Polywood.

Gorgeous Color
Was a breeze to assemble, it is a very nice red color, and it feels fairly sturdy. Hope to have it for a very long time!
